do you have a favorite music track from wiz? (and if you're feeling funky a favorite for each arc?)

This is such a wonderful question and unfortunately i will give a slightly abridged version due to the circumstances that be, but here’s a few that come to mind:

-The combat music in Khrysalis part 2 that specifically begins in The Tent before getting to the great beast. Makes me loose my Mind man.

-There’s a piece if music in I THINK Cloudburst Forest or Alto Alto?? Or the dock area beforehand that is so lovely ooooo nelson everhart you do it to em

-There’s honestly a few from Polaris, i think one is Baba Yaga’s theme? One i know is from the mines portion, and i also think one named something something borealis comabt theme??? Dont quote me on this lol

-Like genuinely all if the music in Dragonspyre. I love you fallen chior with war drums oh my goddd

-There’s one track in Celestia that i THINK is in the district of the stars….… can hear that clarinet dodododo in my bones

-THE ORIGINAL track used in Ravenwood.

-arcanum theme iconic I legally need to mention it here

-special shoutout to the alternate soundtracks in morganthes dream sequences that shit makes me Cry

since i've been kicking it around in my head tell me how you settled on Elik's design???? also hi shuuuu i love youuu

(For context, this is my Elik fan design!)

I decided to make him an Ice student since Elik's edge is an important place for the Ice school. For the frost giant quest, you take some water to Kelvin, then go to Elik's Edge and throw it off into the abyss (just like a certain Someone we know who jumped off the edge...).

And this is just me personally, but I've always pictured Ice students as troublemakers, tricksters, and just all around silly, mischievous pranksters! And of course, we know the infamous Elik is a notorious student known for stealing relics, which leads me to believe he's somewhat an adrenaline junkie who leaps before he looks.

Despite the reputation for troublemaking, I've also always admired Ice students and thought they were very cool ;) and elegant! Their gear is always so lovely looking, with delicate frost and snowflakes, but still tanky and powerful like glaciers. To reflect that, I added some elegance to Elik's gear! It's partially based on the original new wizard robes, the Raiment of Winter's Reign, and the Icewind Glade Winterwaps!

My version of Elik is a snarky, kind of stupid, impulsive, and snooty wizard who lives for the thrill of the chase, stealing priceless artifacts and going on crazy chases through the Spiral. He's annoying, rude, and full of himself, but he's also kind (in a clumsy way) and he cares deeply about the history and development of Ice magic. He's like that cousin that you kind of hate, but you can't help but love him.

Loveable idiot, that he is!

(I also never came up with a last name for him, but I kind of like toying with the idea of Elik Frostblade- maybe he was so innovative with Ice magic that he invented or revolutionized the Frost Blade spell, and it was named after him...)

🧟‍♂️ - A classic and silly answer from when I first started playing back in like 2014, but Lady Blackhope's original dialogue of "Mere mortals shall not dabble in the affairs of the undead! Perish now, Wizard!" with the voice effects did give teeny tiny me the chills, but the kind of fear that made me feel so accomplished and brave for beating her.

In more recent times, the Medulla fight terrified me when I first reached it because OH SHIT MY FRIENDS. MY COMPANIONS. HOLY SHIT MEDULLA IS STRINGING THEM ALONG AND FORCING THEM TO SAY WHAT HE WANTS. THEIR VOICES ARE FUCKING DULL AND DEAD. WHAT THE FUCK. WHAT THE FUCK! MEDULLA YOU FANTASTIC TERRIFYING DISGUSTING BASTARD I AM GONNA TURN YOU INTO A STAIN ON THE GROUND.

I can't think of anything that genuinely creeped me out without getting negative, talking about actual squicks or triggers, sadly.

⚔️ - Titan's trident. I never do it solo, BUT when carrying folks through high level dungeons to level up, I always offer to carry them through Titan's Trident just for the fun and novelty of a level 40-something getting the Stormbreaker badge :3

🦤- Maybe not an event, but I wish they'd bring back the original Crab Alley questline with Selena Gomez sometime. I have only heard rumors of the tale.

🎻 - cowan knows intermediate/slightly advanced piano. he spent a few years practicing but doesn’t dedicate a lot of time to it as of late. he also knows beginner/basic guitar, and is slowly teaching himself how to play when he’s out in the spiral. he definitely knows wonderwall.

🌴 - he LOVESSSSSSSSSS to garden in his spare time. his houses are always super landscaped and he does it all himself. he likes the hard work and the satisfaction of completion more than the flowers.

❤️ - 1) cowan is deeply loyal (sometimes to a dependent degree) and will come when you need him, no matter where either of you are. 2) he’s immensely passionate about magic and the spiral, and is always willing to teach anyone who’s willing to put in the hard work. 3) he’s every bartender’s favorite regular. he drinks heavy and tips heavier, and at 6’2 (pre-divine paradox) and built like a linebacker, he’s their unofficial security for anyone getting too rowdy. 4) munch

🤓 - it’s dependent on where he’s at. if there’s a lot of people around, he’s a lot more quiet. he tends to pay attention to the people around them, not interested in conversation. if there’s less than 7-8 people, he’s more chatty, maybe cracking a few jokes, adding to the conversation here and there. the less people, the more talkative he gets. but be careful one-on-one, he gets flustered easily.

character in general — the master is one of my favourite characters in the show , hands down. I mean obviously …. why else would I have made a master’s tardis blog ??  and then somehow successfully conned you into writing a version of the masterhow they play them — ssssssssoooooooooooo wwwweeeeelllllllllll. I mean obviously you write an au version of the master , so I have nothing canonical to compare him to - but I hope you know by now just how much I love himmmm. we’ve written these losers on and off for years now , and then depth , character development , and growth you’ve given him still amazes me at times tbh. sometimes , when I think we’ve run out of ideas , you just rUN IN HERE WITH MORE , and more development , and more plots , and I just love it. your master is so complex , you’ve given him a backstory that just … mAKES SENSE , and he’s like the perfect master for eleven’s run. i could go on and on , but you know , i won’t.the mun — is a chipmunk , and my best friend
