Scott walked out of his bedroom wearing nothing but a robe, his tired eyes widening in surprise not expecting to see .. that guy of all people in his house. How did he even get in here? Did he leave the backdoor unlock, forget he invited him over?? He wasn't sure. but whatever he didn't want him here.

"The fuck are you doing here, poor boy? I don't have any spare food for you! Gt out of my kitchen!" He ran over shoving him away, eyes finally noticing the eggs and bacon on the table. Hey.. he didn't remember having that in his house.. but he also hadn't eaten in a long time either. "

".... Oh. Oh I see.. you think I need to eat. Well forget it.. I'm not eating food made by poor people."

Was he still poor? Scott wasn't sure.. but he didn't care enough to keep track either.

Kenny flashed Kevin a tired smile. “I’m workin’ on that, dude.” He indeed was. The minimum wage he earned at City Wok wasn’t much, but at least it was honest. When he made deliveries, he sometimes made a few extra dollars in tips, too. Sadly, it would have been much easier to make money purely by sucking dick or starting up the family meth business again. But Kenny wanted to be better than his parents, especially for Karen and Kevin.

He felt a little guilty not telling Kevin about where he kept the money he saved. He didn’t want to risk anything. He knew his brother liked to drink sometimes, and he didn’t want all the money to be spent on booze. Kenny drank sometimes, too, but he was doing his best to keep everything in check.

“Maybe we should get outta here for a while. Karen’s at a friend’s. We could grab a burger somewhere. On me.”
