This Suzuki Book 4 young man is hearing a piece he played in Book 2 for so long in a new deeper way as he now plays the harmony instead of the melody. This is developing him to be an excellent orchestra and chamber player. In character it pushes students to realize that it’s good to not always play the melody, to assist with the harmony.
