A little while back, I did a hike that was a bit of a wake up call as to just much sitting around in the Geology Lab I was doing. "Delirious" and probably stroking out- I shakily pulled out my phone during the hike to try and re-enacted a scene from Gladiator, where Maximus is in Elysium (a place with lots of wheat fields I guess). It's not a great clip- but I keep smiling at how I can crack a stupid joke, even really dehydrated Basically I'm drawing similarities between my silly short hike where I neglected to eat or drink beforehand, and hadn't seriously exercised in months and Maximus' Epic Struggle where he literally died fighting the Emperor of Rome. Same thing really. :-P I plan on returning to that hike soon, because #1- I want to go back and conquer a really stupid 1 mile hike, not even. And #2, because I wanna redo this shot better and put Gladiator's music to it, because it would be kinda funny.
