This morning’s work: finished weaving the sheep on the big Macomer (now I need to weave the rest of the towel). On the Millville I replaced some of the rods that hold the lamms (cut yesterday), hung the lamms, and inserted one warp rod. I need to get another piece of bar stock for a second warp rod. I probably will not be working much in the loft for the next few days as there will be workmen in there. And so it begins. This is the X-frame loom, moved into the studio. I saw one crack that will need to be glued and clamped - nothing major. Other than that it will be cleaned, tightened, amd I’ll be replacing harness cords and treadle tie-ups.
