Plant of the Day
Thursday 20 May 2021
The white flowered Narcissus poeticus var. recurvus (pheasant’s eye, old pheasant's eye, poet’s narcissus) provide a late display of daffodils. This bulbous perennial produces white petals surrounding a yellow, flattened cup fringed with red and a fragrance that is part of late spring. This plant is ideal for naturalising in long grass.
