Finally reaching the last design, 11. Here is the Voice of the Hunted. the favorite cough cough who said that

BASE Chapters:

Ehehe, I wanted to give him a feel like a ostrich, secretary bird, or roadrunner (didn’t make him look like them, just the feel of how they’d run). His tail, with inspiration from the den, has a wing look, which closes in as he runs. He has scratch-like cracks on the left, and his eyes are on the sides of his head to look out for danger clearer. The markings on his legs point towards his feet, what he needs to use to run.

The Den:

I wanted to give him a feel like the Den, but also give him a deer look. or a wendigo. He has Horns and spikes on the back of his head and the front of his wings. He acquired wings at the back of his legs as well to contain a bit more protection at his legs, and he has scars to the mix that were acquired from Beast. He becomes more quadruped as he starts leaning a bit more into animal like.

Longing

Here is number 3, the design I made for Voice of the Cold. I find Cold himself very interesting!

BASE Chapters:

To be honest, I was at a blank for this design at first. I didn’t want him to stand out but I wanted to give a unique nature to what he’d look like. I settled on a somewhat owl look in order to indicate “observant”, and to bear a resemblance to look like some other voices. He contains small spikes, the resemblance of curved upward horns with the top head feathers, and spiky wings in order to discourage approachability. He also has black sections as he seems a lot more connected to the long quiet.

The Princess and the Dragon Chapter:

….. so-

The main notable thing in that chapter over cold is that he was content the Decider was back in their body. With Cold’s boredom, I decided to give the illusion of time passing with additional cobwebs and a gaping hole in their chest. The face got “torn” open in order to indicate his numbness, with another face inside to show a better resemblance to the long quiet. His now flowy tail is to give a reference to the Spectre.

Blind Devotion

Here is design 8! Smitten received a redesign! he was in redesign jail for a while,, I find the Smitten very silly!

BASE Chapters:

Gosh, it took me a while to settle on a design, but I think i’ll settle for this one! I wanted to give a feeling of “over the top” but at the same time very friendly looking! I thought giving him large amounts of fluff would make sense as he’d be cuddly with how affectionate he is. In a way I tried to give the “valiant knight takes off their helmet” sort of feeling to his look and gave him an extra long feather for the top feathers to show it. One more thing is that I kept his eyes shut to show that he’s blindly devoted, and his love knows no bounds.

Happily Ever After:

… well, the scenario that led up to the chapter took a hard turn so I wanted Smitten to reflect that. He basically removed himself from Quiet, the well… “body” and became a shadow so I decided to try and reflect that in his looks. Instead of just keeping him a shadow, I tried to twist it:

His body exploded, the remains of him still lingering in the shadow. Cracks formed on some areas of bone to reflect him, as he left to make her happy. Everything was for her… wasn’t it?

Unfamiliarity

Here’s number two, my design of Voice of the Contrarian! Voice in the game has a very prominent charm to him.

BASE Chapters:

I decided to give Contra a somewhat “chaotic” design with no real order. I decided to give him masks that he can use to hide his face when he wants to, 3 arms/wing, and two tails (the image the stranger vessel gives during the shifting mound fight inspired this look).

Additionally, not part of the design but feel like he’d be defying gravity often just because he feels like it, he doesn’t even have to fly he just floats.

Heart Scene w/ Hero:

I was initially not going to do anything for the scene but then I changed my mind. He did seem to go through an arc of his own, so I drew him appearing tired, a lot of cracks on his masks and face. He seemed regretful of his actions during the stranger scene, all because he thought his actions didn’t have consequences. One more thing I added is an additional tail and more feathers, as I feel that he felt he was more than he was before.

Pain

Number 5! Here is the Voice of the Cheated! Very funny to see him every time.

BASE Chapters:

Oh the way I wanted to design him was fun, I started on the other one before this one if it hasn’t been seen. I gave him a cleaner look, trying to give him some sassy edge to him as he always is on alert on what unfortunate circumstance is gonna help him next. Know the magnifying glass prank pulled where there’s paint on the eye after pulling back? I really wanted to reference that on him so he got a marking on one eye. Additionally, his ears are shaped on how I usually draw knives! :)

The Arms Race / No Way Out:

Contrary to the others, this is his more permanent look. The way I designed him was those plushes in mind and how sometimes they’d be stitched back together. He’d be trying to stitch himself back together up so fast he accidentally misplaced his eyes and makes it seems he has… “bandages” at his face. He’s lost many feathers to both stress and well… blades but he still manages to keep himself together! The X in his chest indicates his lack of trust towards situations.

Betrayal

Here is 10! The Voice of the Opportunist, very funny to see in routes.

BASE Chapters:

I decided to lean into the look the Quiets body has when Opportunist is in control! I gave him scratches and knocked out teeth to show he is a fighter/ someone who strives to survive. His tail is long, similar to ribbons, and his wings look relative normal, aside from the fact that they both have sharpness to them, the tail, with enough force, can harm, and inside of his wings, he has spikes like a scorpion with small amounts of venom (his tongue has them too). He looks more like the decider and hero, because they both seem like they’re on top, and he strives to be like them.

The Thorn:

He doesn’t have the decisions in that route no matter what real agency he tries to have, in order to get the thorn, ignoring the opportunists words and giving her the blade is crucial for trust (which is why his hands are held together by thorn vines) He keeps seeing threats, even if they aren’t there. This is why the thorns dig into his face, threatening his vision and covering it with flowers. Hidden threats are visible, his way of running or getting out of the situation won’t work, the decider is the one making decisions after all.

Skepticism

Hereeeee is design 9! The Voice of the Skeptic! I really only changed the patterns on his legs-

BASE Chapters:

He looks very similar to my design of Smitten to give brotherly vibes! And to be honest, I really didn’t want to stray too much from the detective look because it’s too perfect for him. He’s the only one of my voices that has… well… “clothing”, but it’s literally just a belt with pockets and a detective hat. His feathers keep his mouth covered so he can hide his expression. Similar to smitten, I kept his eyes shut in order to reflect him being blinded from the truth to his own skepticism, or well, searching too much into little things he doesn’t look at the big picture.

The Cage:

Oh this one took me a while, but I finally settled on something simple. It is a metal bird cage that has chains, wrapped around his body to keep him restrained. He lost his hat and belt, and gained harsh scratches from hooks on chains on his arms and legs. Skeptic’s mind restrains him from breaking the cycle, which is the reason he has the cage and chains.

Terror

Here is number 4! This design is after the Voice of the Paranoid! Love him

BASE Chapters:

I see Paranoid as the freeze sense, as Stubborn seems to be fight and Hunted seems to be flight sense, so I gave him a sort of “stand in place” look. This version is so focused on his surroundings and keeping himself alive that his limbs and wings reflect a lack of care. It gets so far that his tail resembles nerves.

The sharp edges on his design are to indicate the lack of trust in his surroundings.

The Moment of Clarity:

All of the new elements such as the eyes, extra fluff, ribs to protect, bones outside, is to show how much times passed and how much guarded he tried to keep himself. But there wasn’t really a use was there? She was always going to get out.
