Luna paused, holding her raised knuckles to the door but not knocking again. She had suspected that someone was in the bathroom crying, but hearing the voice only confirmed it. Licking her lips slowly, Luna ducked down as she quickly scribbled a note on a scrap piece of paper - both pen and paper from her purse - and shoved it under the door.

“ I think I'll go down in flames, ” Jeremy told Michael as he lied back on a beanbag, “ Wouldn't ask you to join me, cause that would be insane. ” He chuckled weakly to himself and gripped onto his shirt as he began to speak quieter, “ But you could warm your hands. ”

“ I would stake out your place right here next to me,” he finally added, sitting up straight and pulling on his cardigan. He gave him an uneasy grin while his face was clearly flushed.
