My chara Adriana Basurto, from my comic Olena.

She’s 22, from Barcelona, half Spanish half Chinese.

She is the most talented user in the latest generation of the Basurto family, who can manipulate/command trees. Her own sapling is a spanish oak tree, but she can also transform her own body into living tree tissue.

She lost her lower right arm when she was 12, while training with her bro Luis, when he lost control of the sapling he was manipulating.

Unlike her twin Valentina, Adriana is kinda socially awkward yet very competitive, and determined to reach the position of Spanish Overworld Commander, and to one day be in the Roku - the six most talented and respected commanders in the world.

She was raised as all Basurtos (and most magic people are), with a deep seated mistrust of the Mollers, (despite her uncle being Kitt Farley aka papa of Olena and Alina Moller). She is aware that Olena is her cousin but has had no interest in meeting her, assuming as they all do that Olena’s a degenerate criminal like her mother and gramps.

Adriana’s only serious romance has been with Leo Benjelloun, whom she still loves, but as we know, he’s somewhat preoccupied with Olena right now...

A trio of Weis

Wei Chen is 19, bi, from Chengdu but lives in Hong Kong with his crow pals and disabled goldfish.

He speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, (American) English all fluently, with a smattering of other languages inc Japanese and Spanish.

He loves to cook and do abstract paintings. He’s not into violence and generally just wants to chill.

The four Chen-Moller daughters

Grizella (identical twins with) Guan Yin. Gina (Georgina). Gwen (Gwendolyn).

Grizella is bi, has magic-transferral powers, speaks English, Mandarin, Spanish, and a smattering of Scottish Celtic. She loves world history and literature.

Guan Yin has no powers, super into weapons training and martial arts, otherwise basically just watches tv.

Gina has crow affinity powers, is accidentally immortal, lowkey goth, collects animal skeletons, doesn’t get jokes or sarcasm, totally spaced out and always seems to be happy, generally bit of a weirdo, also not really human and craves human flesh.

Gwen, the youngest by 14 years, has fire starter powers. She hates her magic and hates most other people.
