2002 Olga Raffault Chinon Les Picasses is the theoretical lovechild of a fine Grand Cru Burgundy and a rustic St. Emilion Grand Cru. It has the fine regal silky texture of a Burgundy and the rustic, serious backbone of a St Emilion. I bought this 11 years ago at Chambers Street on @grapeylyle 's recommendation for $20 a bottle. What a steal. If I served this blind and told folks it was a $150 bottle of wine, most would believe it.
