FASHION CREDITS: THE MONSTER BALL TOUR 1.0
Described by Lady Gaga as "the first-ever 'pop electro opera'", Gaga kicked off the Monster Ball Tour at the Bell Centre in Montreal on November 27, 2009, four days after the release of her second album “The Fame Monster”. Everyone was eager to see what Nicola Formichetti and his team had created for this show and they weren’t disappointed.
These are the fashion credits for the theatre version of the show, which went from November 2009 - February 2010.
BACK IN TIME: LADY GAGA ON OPRAH WINFREY SHOW
Back in January 2010 Lady Gaga made a special appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show where she not only talked about her album and success, but also treated her fans with a special medley performance!
She was styled by Nicola Formichetti for the occasion, who only pulled young, emerging designers.
BACK IN TIME: AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS 2009
Our girl never fails to impress. And we love her for that.
Lady Gaga attended the American Music Awards held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on November 22, 2009 where she performed “Bad Romance” and “Speechless” on a burning piano.
Even though she skipped the red carpet, stylist Nicola Formichetti made sure to treat the fans with three looks that night. Her makeup was done by Billy B.
BACK IN TIME: LADY GAGA WEARS OLIMA F/W10 TO CONSUMER ELECTRONICS SHOW
On January 7, 2010 Lady Gaga attended the Consumer Electronics Show held at the Convention Center in Las Vegas as Polaroid’s newest Creative Director before attending a press conference to talk about her and Dr. Dre’s collaborative “HeartBeats” headphones.
Nicola Formichetti was in charge for the styling and, oh boy, to this day I can’t get over this look!

Lady Gaga released the music video for the second single of ‘The Fame Monster’ EP - ‘Telephone’ ft. Beyoncé on March 11, 2010 via Vevo.
The video, which is a continuation of the “Paparazzi” video, was directed once again by Jonas Åkerlund and styled by Nicola Formichetti. Hair by Danilo Dixon and makeup by Billy B.

Welcome to the first part of the “Joanne” World Tour fashion credits here on La Maison Gaga. Since Lady Gaga started her tour in Vancouver, I’ve been talking nonstop to her team and various designer labels to gather all the information for you.
Let’s begin with the interludes and visuals that Gaga made for the tour in collaboration with Lobster Eye - the creative studio created by Ruth Hogben and Andrea Gelardin.
