Although the Brink-Spectre household is affluent enough nowadays that the girls can dress more fashionably, Florence avoids the trendy puffed sleeves and voluminous ruffles in favor of more simple, academic clothing. This represents her more erudite personality, and her clothes tend to be more practical. She has a fondness for wandering off alone, and needs to dress practically in order to do so. Her clothes are often brown, with the occasional spot of blue, to tie in with her older brother Jules.
Although the rift between Jules and George is slowly growing, they are still very similar people, and Jules's wardrobe often parallels his father's. He wears a combination of very casual and very formal clothing, mostly in various shades of dark blue. He shares his mother's introversion, and this is manifested in the simplicity of his clothing. Jules dislikes his parents' attention, and that of others, and tries to avoid it whenever he can. The only exceptions to this are his sisters, with whom he is incredibly close.
Olive stands in sharp contrast to the demure practicality of Florence and Jules's wardrobes. She has no qualms about taking advantage of her parents' wealth, and is happy to use it to furnish her bold, outgoing personality. Olive dresses primarily in pinks and reds, which also serve to set her apart from the rest of her family, and her dresses frequently feature dramatic puffed sleeves, ruffles, ribbons, and lace. She loves attention, and strives to get it no matter how, often leading her to deliberately start conflict. She is the root of many of the disagreements between her siblings, and doesn't mind this at all.

Now enrolled in college and an entire ocean away from his family, Jules well and truly considers himself an adult, and dresses accordingly, in jackets and long pants. He's glad to be free of the shorts and knee socks of his childhood years, and has perhaps turned too far in the other direction, favoring serious, withdrawn adult's clothing. Indeed, many of the influences on his wardrobe come from his father. Although he and Jules have had a rocky relationship, George has been much of Jules's musical inspiration, and is thus the reason he's out of the house in the first place. Despite any conflicts they may have, the two are decidedly close, and that is reflected not only in Jules's color palette of blues, but in his sensible, simplistic clothing choices. Despite his aspirations towards adulthood, however, Jules is not grown up yet, a fact that displays itself best in his unkempt hair. Lacking the resources to cut it himself while away at college, Jules has instead elected to let it grow out, and the shaggy, uneven curls set him apart from the adult he insists he is.
Dressing in similarly subdued clothing is Florence, who continues her past pattern of blues and browns. Florence feels especially strong connections with her father and brother, and with men in general, so ehe tends towards masculine clothing, her outfits heavily featuring buttons, suit jackets, waistcoats, and other similarly boyish details. However, the occasional ruffle or puffed sleeve still presents itself, even when surrounded by her simple, flat hats, and sturdy boots. Florence is unable to escape her bond with her sister, even if their childhood arguments have solidified into chilly silence. While it's true that Florence doesn't bear the same curse that Olive does, they still share a similar cold-hearted, single-minded attitude towards their lives, which tends to manifest itself in overlap between their wardrobes.
Olive dresses in stark contrast to her siblings, and to the rest of her family. Her dresses are elaborate, covered in lace, ruffles, and frills, and she continues her pattern of pastel pinks from childhood, which cause her to stand out against the generally earthy, muted tones of her family. Olive's personality is similarly stark against the backdrop of her academic, introverted household, and her outfits are clearly chosen for attention. She shares her mother's love of elaborate hats, and is almost always bedecked in flowers, ribbons, or feathers. Her skirts tend to be shorter than Florence's, as Olive is often more "childish" than her twin, easy to anger and hatred, and irresponsible with her relationships. Unlike Florence, Olive's clothes are not suited to the outdoors, and her impractical heels are often a detriment in her countryside lifestyle.
Lydie, however, spends nearly all of her time outside, and dresses in accordance with that. Her skirts are short and practical, and she's usually seen in heavy, muddy boots. Her bond with nature is the strongest out of all her siblings, and it's exemplified in her color choices - her outfits are almost entirely green, with only touches of other colors. Lydie's lack of interest in other people has led also to a lack of interest in fashion, and one which Ruby hasn't bothered to try and change, so her clothes are very plain, often almost entirely lacking in details.

With a new decade on the horizon and the three eldest Spectres now out of the house, it seems the time has come to select who to follow for the next chunk of our story. I have elected to leave Lydie & Celestin out due to their ages, so it's a choice between Jules, Florence, and Olive.
Their respective introduction posts can be found here, here, and here, all of which contain some hints at what their stories will hold. Below the cut I will include a list of potential content warnings for each story, so if you don't mind spoilers, vote with those in mind!
(If you're really early to this post and I've forgotten to link the bios, they can all be found here.)
Also, to note: all of these sims will remain somewhat relevant to the story, and won't disappear entirely. But whoever we select will be the primary focus. Also also, if there aren't a ton of votes (understandable, I'm not a very large blog,) I may make the choice myself.
Now, onto the voting!
Who should be heir?
Jules
Florence
Olive

Potential content warnings
These are subject to change, as I don't fully script out my Sims' stories before they happen, so please don't, be upset if these themes don't show up, or if other ones do.
Jules:
World War I, PTSD & general war trauma, potential anger, violence, or physical harm to self or loved ones as a result of said trauma. Will also definitely include a great deal of alcohol in general, although I don't currently plan to depict alcoholism in this plotline.
Florence:
US Imperialism, the profound racism of early anthropology, poor archaeological practices of many varieties, especially: white people thinking they have a right to anything they "find," selling artifacts to collectors instead of putting them in museums, and possible destruction of artifacts. Also, power imbalance in romantic relationships, possibly organized crime of some sort.
Olive:
Alcoholism, toxic relationships, potential mistreatment of young female celebrities, emotional abuse, emotional manipulation, definitely some toxic parent-child relationships down the line. Generally, the trials and tribulations of the spotlight. Also, specifically, deliberately making use of her albinisim to appear white, & generally colorism / racism in the film industry.
Victoria and Constance head home a few weeks later. There are a handful of tearful farewells, and Olive and Connie swear to become penpals, and write each other frequently.
Once all the farewells are done, Ruby hands over Celestin, stricken with guilt. She tries, internally, to convince herself that this is for the best, but she can't help resenting herself for abandoning her son, illegitimate or not.
