SINGLE REVIEW: Olive Tiger “Dark”

Connecticut folk trio, Olive Tiger,’s latest single, "Dark," is any anything but dark.

The twinkly song is out of this world—painting vivid scenes of impossible beauty, luxurious scenescapes, and creative outbursts.

The song explores the beauty of the hours between 1 a.m. and 5 p.m., when our minds shift their thoughts and start moving in weird ways.

“Dark” features fast-paced rhythms, emphasized by whispers of cello and violin that take listeners back to a time where everything seemed like a dream.

It’s hard to write quality music that paints pictures of beauty so vividly. In this case, Olive Tiger nailed it. With their melody-driven electronic sound, the three-piece created a song that makes people want to sing and dance in a field of wildflowers.
