One of my favorite ways in which Olive is a hypocrite is that she thinks of herself as being a complete moron in social situations due to her past as a hermit, but the reality is when she interacts with others, she's... Fine? Jumpy and skittish, but otherwise fine? You look around at the rest of the hotel and half the people there couldn't have a normal conversation to save their lives, but Olive (however clumsily) actually makes an effort to meet people where they're at, which most of the hotel's residents kind of aren't used to. It leads to this double empathy problem where the rest of the Hazbin cast sees Olive as being a lot more stable than them, but she returns that feeling in kind. Gets at the idea of Olive being in a state where she actually does have the power to help others simply by virtue of the person she is, but she's sort of throwing that responsibility out the window by convincing herself she's incompetent because she can't handle being known.

Olive using humor to mask her actual emotions and Vaggie getting annoyed by it is twofold because on the one hand, when Olive is being frank and open and honest and is cracking jokes, she can actually find it pretty endearing in the same way she likes Charlie being a dork. But on the flip side, when Olive cracks jokes instead of speaking her mind when she's distraught, it gets under her skin because she can tell Olive is bullshitting even if she doesn't realize it.

Olive morbidly wondering what would happen if she had to sign a demon contract in Hell but used her secular name and wondering if she would have to sign her Hebrew name for it to be binding, but very much not wanting to find out

Olive slowly developing more inhuman body language as she spends more time in Hell. Olive starting to do birdlike head-tilts in response to stimuli because she's a dinosaur. Olive getting weird cravings for raw vegetation because she's an herbivore. Olive's wings molting, Olive's leg-skin shedding. Olive learning to communicate in her bleats and trills. Olive's environment slowly subsuming her.
