during his early years of high school, oliver moved from California to Vegas. 

before moving, oliver was considered to be the model student. he held promise as becoming an addition to elite schools in the country. 

he was somewhat of a tool his parents used to flaunt their superiority. that was until something else has caught his eye.

upon relocating with his mother, his parents had gone through finalizing the divorce. his mother is bitter to say the least and left california after finding out oliver’s father knocked up the maid. 

the pair left to Vegas with an amount of money that can barely call comfort. which lead oliver in another direction in life; crime.

oliver’s interests turned into ways to find quick money and the crime life seems to be his only option. making connections fast within the high school he attended, he barely made it to graduation and was offered a job at the hospital. 

now, people are paid off and Oliver is cutting deals to make little details lost when the bodies are brought in for work.

(For Michael) Lighting a cigarette and glanced to Michael from the corner of his eye. "Do you ever miss me?" Obviously he wasn't talking about work. Secretly missing Michael himself, but would never admit it.

The question made him pause; thumbs poised over the on screen keyboard of his mobile phone.

Michael glanced over to Oliver, expression unreadable except for the silent question in his eyes. There was an implication that it was not about business, he understood that when Oliver refused to meet his gaze outright. Michael turned his attention back to his mobile; quickly sending out his text and then placed it down on the coffee table between them. All was silent and still for a moment, while the smoke from Oliver's lit cigarette slowly spread across the room like a thin screen.

The two of them have spent years dancing around each other, sharing fleeting glances and lingering touches. Obviously having feelings for one another but had never done or said anything to change it.

"Of course, Зайчик мой," he replied eventually. "I miss you just as much as you miss me."

Modeled after a celebrated war veteran turned spy, Robert was part of the first generation of humanoid androids that actually passed as human, for a short time. They've come up with better models over the past two-decades. But ever since an android was used as spy equipment and was successful, there is a debate that has been going on for over seven years. They were fighting for restriction of androids or stopping the production line altogether, thus far they were not successful but restriction was still a possibility.

His product number was on his wrist, hidden under the synthetic skin that covered the metal. For easy access, programmed for his owner, he could recite it whenever asked. It's been years since his Oliver asked for his product number, due to so many upgrades that required it. His owner had it completely memorized.

For the past week his Oliver has been busy with work. With the recent floodings this winter within the city limits it wasn't surprising. His owner's work always picked up during a crisis, no matter how obscure. Still, even if it wasn't the same for his owner, Oliver's well being always came first.

"The average human needs eight hours rest for adequate functionality for both mental and physical health. Your headache is a symptom of high blood pressure and you have been exhibiting other symptoms for the past week due to sleep deprivation. I must insist that you rest now."

That had been eight hours and fifty-six minutes ago. It had taken nearly an hour for his Oliver to properly fall asleep and for most of the hour they lay together, side by side on the bed talking. Nothing of importance, but it had been acceptable nighttime conversation.

Robert was in sleep mode, silently monitoring his Oliver's sleep. When he deemed it appropriate to wake, his eyes snapped open and he began to tap at Oliver's arm.

"You have completed your average of four REM cycles. It is now eleven AM. Please wake up."
