Burgers & Bridges
Connor Walsh. Perfection embodied. He was pale with dark brown hair, always cut in some trendy hairstyle, his bristly beard always the same, never too grown out yet enough for Oliver to imgine it tickle against his own skin if they ever were to kiss. As if though.
Oliver was not anywhere near his standards to say the least. Connor was a celebrity. He had written a book in law, everyone knew he'd slept his way to the top and nobody cared because Connor was Connor. He had this aura about him. That's why when he was on the latest hottest TV-show he had people drooling all over him and Oliver, hopelessly, was one of them.
Oliver kept scrolling through the actor's instagram, falling harder and harder for the idea of even meeting the man, having coffee with him, or drinks with him or just... watching him.
With a sigh he put his phone away, pulling the duvet over his head again and trying to go back to sleep.
When the morning arrived and Oliver checked his phone again he noticed that Carl, one of his closest friends, had texted. 'got a bday surprise for u, get ready and we'll get going at two.' Oliver's birthday was basically just around the corner. In a couple of days he'd be twenty seven and Carl knew that Oliver didn't want to be thinking about that. He was still working with what he'd done when he turned eighteen. He was still not having a boyfriend, his parents were still clueless to that he was gay and each year he got older they kept asking about when he'd meet his princess and give them grandchildren. He didn't have the heart to tell the truth, that they'd never have grandkids. He, however was curious to what Carl had planned for a birthday-surprise. Oliver did like some surprises after all. After a quick check up on the clock he realized he had about three hours to go and after a quick shower and cup of coffee he sat down with his phone, checking Connor's instagram again.
Once in the car he didn't get anything out of him. He couldn't even know where they were going, but it was to take it's time. Carl said he had a business meeting and that Oliver would patiently have to wait and see what was up. That was one type of surprise he was horrible with. He preferred surprises where he knew what the surprise actually was. Carl knew that much, but clearly that wasn't information worthy of putting in use. Oliver's nerves didn't get better when Carl opened his mouth again. “Trust me, you wouldn't even want to know” “What, why wouldn't I want to know?” “Because you would refuse to do it” Carl said simply, before he smiled reassuringly at Oliver. “Don't worry, you'll like it” Oliver stared at him in disbelief as they continued driving forward.
They arrived in San Francisco hours later and Oliver still hadn't gotten it out of him where they were going and why. He had seen the signs before they drove into the city and they pulled over outside a building. “I've got to go, I seriously do have a work thing. I'll pick you up here when I'm done. You just go into this building and, well, have fun” “Are you kidding me?” Oliver asked, watching him with a confused face and Carl grinned wider. “I'm not kidding you. Are you going or do I have to be a parent and walk you in?” Oliver muttered out a response as he got out of the car and walked into the building. He looked around with a confused face. He had entered some sort of reception. “Can I see your ID, sir?” the receptionist asked and Oliver raised his eyebrows. “Why?” he asked and the woman smiled at him. “It's the rules, sir” “Rules? For what?” Oliver asked, though showing the woman his ID. She pressed a button, telling someone that 'Mr Hampton's here'. Oliver raised an eyebrow as she made a movement with her arm towards the elevator. “Top floor, sir” He walked over to the elevator with confusion, stepped into it and pushed the right button as he looked around for clues to what was on the top floor. He found none and as the doors opened he stepped out. He found himself in some sort of restaurant. It was empty and there was one table set. He was having lunch by himself? Now that was exciting.
He stepped inside, looking around with a confused face just as a man appeared from the door next to him. “You're Oliver?” Oliver turned around and his jaw flung opened and he just stared. “Is this a prank?” he asked. “A prank?” The man asked and Oliver shook his head. “It's not funny. What is it, a mask? Or is it really you, paid to prank me? Because it's not funny” “It's not a prank” the man grinned. “So, how about lunch? What do you like?” “What are you talking about? Why am I here? Why are we having lunch? This is a dream. Yup, totally a dream.” “It's not a dream” the man said with an amused voice as he had a seat. “Do you like wine?” “Yeah, that's what you always say. Then we make out or whatever and then I wake up. It's a dream.” The brunette grinned wider. “Want me to pinch you?” he asked and Oliver looked around. “I read somewhere you can't read when you're dreaming” “Is that so?” The man nodded towards a painting with some text on it and as Oliver turned to face it he clearly read 'Eat Drink Love'. “Oh fuck” he murmured out, staring at the man now. He'd just told THE Connor Walsh that he dreamed about making out with him? “Now, do you believe me?” Connor asked with a grin as he poured up two glasses of red wine. “Amarone, do you like it?” “It's okay” Oliver murmured out, having a seat himself now. “Uh... Okay, so uh... Why is this happening?” “Your friend entered you into a competition and you won. I'm supposed to tell you all about my next movie and we're supposed to take loads of selfies” “I approve of that” Oliver stated at once and Connor grinned. “Or we just have a nice lunch. Maybe I could take you to dinner as well?” “What, did I win a dinner too?” “No” Connor smiled. “But I'd still like to take you out. You're... not like other people” “Not like what?” Oliver asked though, still having a hard time accepting this was happening just like that. It wouldn't be the first time he was pranked. He was all the time in school. “Handsome, muscular, thin?” “Superficial, boring self-centered” Connor corrected him as he watched him. “I'm not pranking you. I seriously want to take you out for dinner. It's just a dinner, I don't bite” Connor grinned wider as he added; “Unless you want me to.”
The food was served, small pieces of expensive salmon with some salad. “Do you like fish?” Connor asked and Oliver smiled some. “Not really. I do like wine though” he stated and Connor grinned. “Wanna get out of here then?” “Can you just do that?” “Of course. I'm a grown man, I can do whatever I want, you know” he reminded him with a grin. “We can grab a burger” “I do love burgers” Oliver stated as he got up with Connor. “Don't you have... like a body guard or something?” he asked and Connor grinned at that. “I'm not Madonna.” His reply made Oliver smile and he nodded in agreement. No, he wasn't Madonna, but he was crazily much better than Madonna, at least to Oliver.
They left the building and walked on the street while Oliver held his eyes on the man walking next to him so casually. He still had a hard time to grasp the fact that he was actually walking next to Connor Walsh. He was just as beautiful up close and that annoyed him. He'd rather have him be a jackass so he wouldn't have to care and wouldn't have to feel so fucking attracted to him.
They had entered a hamburger close to Golden Gate Park and had their seats. Oliver had ordered curly fries with a bigass hamburger and a milkshake and Connor had just dito'd Oliver's order. They had their seats and Oliver put a piece of curly fry into his mouth as he studied the man before him. He was so beautiful the way he looked through his order to see what he'd gotten more specifically.
After they had finished their meals they made their ways to the Golden Gate, having seats on a bench on the cliff just before it stooped downwards straight into the ocean. “It's beautiful here” Connor stated as he seemed to study the view. “It is” Oliver agreed, studying him instead of the view. “What it's like? I mean, the million followers, the fans, the... paparazzis?” Connor smiled at him. “Does it seem like it's fun? It's... I mean, I'm grateful. I don't know though. I miss these moments” he sighed before he turned to watch Oliver. “I've seen your Instagram-profile” “My what?” Oliver asked, surprised. “I googled you when I got to know that I'd meet you and... your profile was there. I don't know. You're cute” “I'm cute?” Oliver asked, being back to believing it was a prank. “You're cute” Connor nodded with a sigh. “And you... You shouldn't be so insecure. I'd really like to take you out to dinner. If I can” “I... I guess you can” Oliver watched him, nodding some. “Yeah, I... you're sort of cute too” Connor smiled at him, carefully placing his hand on top of Oliver,s making fireworks light inside his hand and spread throughout his body. “How about take out and a movie?” he asked and Oliver smiled at that, nodding. “That sounds like a plan” he stated, and soon he grinned. “Maybe I could stay for breakfast as well?” “You could stay as long as want”
“I just want to make you happy lie you make me happy and I know that I can.”
Professor Hampton
Connor couldn't help but to wonder why they were the lab rats. They always had interns practicing on his class and it got annoying at times. Connor wasn't there to help anyone else out, he was there to become the best lawyer he could. Annalise had reminded them that the ones who weren't part of the Keating five would have to do their own placements somewhere. Connor, of course, wouldn't have to find a place. He was doing his own internship with Annalise pretty much every day after school and that was one of the best qualifications you could have from the entire school. Only a lucky few got that opportunity when Annalise was teaching.
They had their seats and Connor leaned his chin onto his hand, studying the teacher who stood with his back against them, writing something on the board as he waited for everyone to have their seats.
From the way he was standing Connor could tell he was nervous, at least a bit. He wore a grey jacket with grey suit trousers and his hair was cut short.
Connor found himself grinning as he studied the back of the man and Laurel watched him with a raised eyebrow.
”You're seriously not thinking about hitting on the teacher, are you?” she asked with a sceptical voice, to which Connor only grinned widely. ”I don't know what he looks like”
”So that's seriously an option?”
”Of course” Connor grinned.
”You do know he won't grade you, do you?”
”I'll make him give me A's all night long.” Connor watched her with a pleased grin and she just sighed, shaking her head. ”Of course you will” she stated and Connor turned to watch the teacher again, who turned around and pushed his round glasses up further on his nose.
”All night long.”
Oliver Hampton was the name that read on the board. Professor Hampton. Had a nice ring to it.
”I'm Oliver Hampton and I'll be your teacher today”
”And in my bed tonight” Connor stated with a pleased look, making Laurel to roll her eyes.
”Today we'll talk about the importance of IT and certain very legal hacking-skills if you want to win a case.” His eyes went over the class and Connor could have sworn they got stuck on him for a second longer than the others.
”Be nice to me, I'm new to this” he continued before he had a seat on the teacher desk.
”So, does anyone know why it is a good idea to know these skills?” he asked and Connor grinned.
”To impress the teacher?” he asked and Oliver watched him with a smile.
”Yes. To impress the teacher. That's what we're doing here. We're impressing the people who grade us and then we never use the skills again”
”Like me and math” Laurel sighed, though Connor didn't listen far too much. Instead he studied the man who'd just stood up for himself. He was surprised, but maybe that was something they covered in teacher's school. It was something that attracted him further though, there was no denying that.
”So, does anyone know why it is a good idea to know these skills? Keep in mind that we've already gotten the answer that it is to impress the teacher.”
Wez raised his hand. Stupid, always so correct Wez.
”It's important so you don't miss anything. So that people won't manage to hide something by just deleting it” he stated and Oliver nodded. Hmpf, Connor could have thought of that himself. He felt the urge to say that sleeping with people for information worked just as fine, but that probably wouldn't sit well with the teacher.
The class went on with Oliver assigning them to try to hack their way to a certain file he'd hidden somewhere online. He had allowed them to ask whenever they wanted help, but he told them he wanted them to work in groups and try to figure it out themselves.
Connor's group was the first one to finish and he had been extremely pleased with himself as he noticed Oliver was impressed. Even more pleased he was with that his group was the only one to succeed.
The class felt like it was over before it'd begun, and Connor lingered as the others left. He got everything into his bag, taking his time, before he walked over to the teacher's desk while geting his jacket on.
”Hello. It was a good class.”
”Thanks” Oliver put his notes into his bag, watching Connor with a smile that made him want to lose his mind. He was fucking adorable.
”So, did I do it?” Connor asked and grinned at Oliver's confused impression.
”Impress you, professor”
Oliver watched him, surprised, before he grinned slightly. ”I don't know. Did you?”
”I'd say I impressed you enough to get to take you out to dinner” Connor shot him the widest smile he could, the one that always got him exactly what he wanted, no matter what it was.
”I'd say you're wrong” Oliver smiled though, making Connor shocked to say the least.
”I'm not your teacher, but we still met like this. I don't think it's morally right to go to dinner with you”
”Then what is morally right?” Connor asked, putting his slightly wounded ego aside to watch his so called teacher with an amused look.
”For me to not tell Mrs Keating about this.” Oliver smiled at Connor. ”Excuse me, I've got class” he said and left the room, leaving a least of all confused Connor behind.
Connor was used to having what he wanted, especially when it came to men, and he had his eyes on Oliver. It annoyed him that he couldn't have him, so he'd make sure that he could. He had easily gotten to know his schedule and after Oliver's last lesson he stood outside the door, grinning as he walked into the class room in which Oliver was, yet again, gathering his notes.
”Did anyone do better than I did?” Connor asked, and Oliver watched him with a raised eyebrow. ”Aren't you supposed to be off by now? Didn't your last class end a couple of hours ago?”
”You know a lot about my schedule for not wanting to go to dinner with me and for being nothing but my teacher” Connor stated, walking over to sit down on the desk casually.
Oliver shrugged as he hung his bag over his shoulder. ”Yeah?”
”Yeah” Connor nodded, grinning slightly. ”You know, the door's locked.” His voice was casual as Oliver turned to watch him.
”I don't sleep with students”
”Aren't you a student yourself?” Connor asked and he seemed to have hit right because Oliver got quiet for a second. ”I guess I am.”
Connor grinned at that, having him where he wanted him at least in one way. He reached out for the other man's hand, tugging him closer, having his face only inches from his.
”You smell nicely” he stated, stroking a thumb over his lower lip before he closed the distance between them in a kiss that started out innocently but quickly grew into something far more needy and sexual.
Their jackets came off fast along with their bags and their shirts. Connor's lips traced Oliver's chest, his nipples at the same time as he freed his cock from the fabric that covered it. Oliver's back hit the wooden desk as Connor moved up on top of him.
Soon their bodies felt like they were on fire as they moved in perfect synchronization. They were tangled together, Connor moving within his body until they both reached bliss.
Connor panted as he pulled back enough to watch the man underneath him.
”I want to see you again, so how about that dinner?”
Oliver nodded quickly. ”Hell yeah”
Ride
Oliver stood with his back against the elevator wall. He was alone and he was on his way to a work meeting. He had to get this job. He wanted to move up from his current job and this would mean a raise, better hours and a better location. It was everything Oliver wanted at the moment and he'd made sure he'd be there in time. In fact he was half an hour early. You didn't know if you could beat traffic, after all. Oliver had done that, beaten traffic, but you could never be certain.
Oliver never took things for granted. He was the type of man who got up at four am to be sure he was going to be on time for work. He was the type of man who wrote down what to cook for dinner each and every day and he stuck by it. Oliver was a man with control. The only thing he did which was even slightly immoral was having the ability to hack, though he hadn't used that skill in ages.
He studied himself in the elevator mirror, pushing his glasses up further on his nose and making sure his hair lay perfectly.
The elevator stopped on the third floor and the doors opened. Oliver turned his gaze from the mirror to watch the man who entered the elevator. He looked stunning. He had dark hair and bristly beard over his jawline. He wore a dark suit and he studied Oliver with a smirk.
Oliver felt himself heat up in his face as he turned his gaze away as the doors closed yet again.
”I haven't seen you around before” the man stated and Oliver nodded mutely.
”What are you doing here?” the man continued as Oliver didn't answer.
”I uh... job interview” he stated and the man nodded with a grin. “I see.”
Oliver remained quiet, though keeping his eyes on the man as the elevator continued upwards. He closed his eyes for a second, wanting to focus on the interview rather than the god sent man before him. He was trying to get in the mood just as he literally felt the earth shaking. First he wasn't sure whether it was the presence of the other man making his legs feel like spaghetti but soon he came to the realization that the earth was actually moving.
“Earthquake” the man sighed just before the elevator went completely dark. It stopped moving and the two were trapped.
“Oh, great” he sighed while Oliver drew a hard breath. This was so far off from his controlling nature you just would get and on top of that he worried that the elevator would shake until it actually fell all the way down. Would they survive that? Oliver was a smart man and he was well aware that it wasn't in his odds at all.
“Hey, you okay?” the man asked, pulling his cellphone up and using the light in it as a flashlight, directing it at Oliver's face.
“I'm fine. I'm just... not looking forward to this elevator crashing towards our death” Oliver panted out and the man smiled. Oliver could see that from the light of the cellphone.
“What's your name?”
“I'm Oliver”
“Nice to meet you, Oliver. Let's sit down, okay?” he asked and pulled Oliver down on the floor next to him.
Oliver sat with the wall behind his back as the trembles stopped and the earth stood still, at least for the moment. He didn't notice how his breathing had increased and he was panting for air.
“Oliver, look at me.” The man's words made Oliver face him and before he knew what had hit him he felt his hand at the back of his head for support as the other pair of lips in the elevator touched his.
He blinked, confused over what just happened, but in a matter of seconds he kissed back. The man was after all the most gorgeous one he'd seen. He'd be stupid not to do anything about it when being approached. He felt his body getting excited just as the brunette pulled back from him. Oliver studied the man, swallowing some before he mover closer to fill the space between them and cause their lips to touch again.
In a matter of seconds tongues were playing as hands were pulling jackets off from shoulders. Oliver was getting more and more warm, more and more excited, and more and more daring. He wasn't in control, things weren't going according to plan. They were a lot better than planned, but still. He loved it. His thoughts were interrupted by a pair of hot lips against his neck and with a gasp he tilted his head back at the same time as he allowed his fingers to work his shirt undone.
“You're gorgeous” Oliver panted out and he could feel the grin spread across the other man's face as he held his lips against Oliver's neck still.
“I know.”
Oliver was pushed down on his back before his shirt was unbuttoned, hanging down on the floor as the lips followed an invisible trail, making their way down his chest, stopping to play with his nipples until they were erected, before they continued down to his lower stomach. Oliver whimpered out in excitement as he stared at the man who had his lips over his lower stomach, kissing and sucking on it, in disbelief. Was this even happening? The feeling of the man's hand over his crotch, stroking his cock outside the fabric of his pants, made it sure to him it was indeed happening and Oliver found himself longing for more as he grew hard.
His pants were opened and pulled down and off along with his boxers and in the matter of seconds he felt a pair of warm lips press against the head. Oliver gasped out, raising his lips in order to ask for more, which made the man grin.
“Excited are we?”
“What does it look like?” Oliver panted out, watching him with a face of frustration. Soon after that he felt the warmth of the man's mouth surround the entire thing, from the head to the base, and Oliver's head fell back as he drew a heavy breath.
“Oh, ah shit” he groaned out.
While being lost in the pleasure of those perfect lips working their way up and down his cock and the beard tickling his balls as It touched them he felt a finger pressed against his entrance. He gasped out surprised but his body allowed the intruder in at once. The finger was wet, probably from saliva unless there was lube or something similar anywhere in the elevator.
Another finger was added, working inside of him to get him relaxed and used to having something there as the lips continued working on him and Oliver's entire being was lost in bliss and he found himself muttering and groaning from pleasure.
Just before he came the sensation stopped and the fingers were pulled out and the lips stopped working on him. He whimpered out at the loss of contact, on both places and frustrated he pulled the man up over him before he worked his pants and boxers down with shaky fingers and hands.
To Oliver it felt like a lifetime until the man was undressed, but in real life it probably was a matter of seconds.
Oliver stared up in the beautiful eyes of the man hovering above him as a grin spread across the other person's face.
“I'm Connor, by the way” he introduced himself as he forced Oliver's legs apart, wrapping them around himself as Oliver made sure his legs were locked around his hips, making sure the man didn't leave to go anywhere else.
“Nice to mee...” he started before he groaned out loudly with the sensation from mixed pain with pleasure.
He had come almost at once, but Cononr had easily worked him up again and he had pressed against Oliver's spot each time he buried himself deep within him and his hand had found it's way around his cock, moving it the same pace as he moved his hips inside him. The final time they came at the same time and Oliver had no thought what so ever of that the lights returned to the elevator, though it was still standing still. Fumblingly they started dressing again, now during silence. Oliver wasn't used to this moment at all, but he looked extremely pleased and flushed where he was seating, buttoning his shirt. A thought hit him, and he turned to face the man again.
“What was that about?”
“Kissing makes you calm down. It makes you focus on something else”
“And the rest?”
“That was just a bonus. Make sure you get that job” Connor stated before he stood up as the elevator started moving and in a matter of seconds the doors had opened and he walked out, leaving a panting Oliver on the floor behind him.
Screwed up
He screwed up. He screwed up bad. So, so bad. He hadn't meant for things to go so wrong. He hadn't meant to cheat on Oliver and he hadn't meant for that man to die. He hadn't meant for being an accomplice to murder, to chop the body up and to burn it down. He had just meant for one hell of a normal life, to be one hell of a normal student with a not so normal sex life.
He was gasping for air as he let his fist pound against the wooden door before him. Once, twice, thrice, all until the man living inside it opened.
“Oliver, I fucked up. I screwed up. It's... a fucking mess, fuck” he panted out, desperately trying to fill his lungs with oxygen. He walked back and forth twice outside the door, before he leaned onto the doorframe, studying the face of total confusion looking back at him.
“It's three in the morning, what are you on?” was the first comment Oliver made and Connor shook his head fast. “I screwed up so bad, Oliver. I screwed up”
He turned around to let his back rest against the door frame before he sank down into a crouching position, covering his ears with his gloves.
“Hey, come on, let's get you inside” Oliver crouched down before him and held out is hand to offer it to Connor, but he didn't take it. He held his hands pressed over his ears as he rocked back and forth, continuously murmuring out how he screwed up.
His breathing was rigid and he barely noticed it himself.
“I-I'm sorry” he panted out as Oliver grabbed his arms to tug him up on his feet and Connor managed to stay on them, though a bit shakily.
“I screwed up” he breathed out and Oliver nodded. “Let's get you into a hot shower, you're freezing” he stated as he pulled Connor inside and to the bathroom to allow him to shower.
Connor felt better as he stepped out of it. The worst shock had gone away, but he was feeling extremely anxious still.
“Do you feel better?” It was now that Connor realized that Oliver wore nothing but his boxers. It slowly came back to him that he hadn't worn more when he opened the door.
“Hey?” Oliver asked. “Do you? Feel better?”
Connor jerked some before he nodded. “Yeah. Thanks. I just... I was drunk”
“That wasn't being drunk” Oliver objected. “You said you'd screwed up. Connor, what did you screw up?”
Connor felt his breathing increasing, though he shook his head as in making an attempt to make Oliver buy that he was okay and that nothing was going on. He walked over to the bed to have a seat on it, himself dressed in nothing but his underwear. It didn't take many seconds until Oliver sat next to him, holding his hands in his.
“You have to breathe, Connor. Watch me. Hey. I'm here. Look at me” Connor turned to face Oliver as he continued to speak.
“Good. You're doing good, Connor. Just inhale with me” he inhaled and Connor followed his example
“So, talk to me, what did you screw up? Be calm and just tell me. I won't be mad” Oliver tried to guarantee but Connor knew that 'I cheated on you' and 'I killed a guy' didn't ring that well with people.
“I c-cheated on you” he panted out and he turned his gaze to watch him just as he saw Oliver's reaction, how hit eyes went blank for a second.
“What?”
“I n-needed info and I... It just h-happened and I'm so sorry and...”
“Hey...” Connor didn't know what was going on, if it was pity that made Oliver ont freak out more than he did, but he nodded quietly.
“It's okay. I'm here”
Connor felt himself being pulled into a hug and he exhaled, feeling his entire body relax into it.
“You'll be okay, Connor. I promise” Oliver murmured out, holding him. “I love you”
“What?”
“I love you” Oliver repeated and Connor pulled back just enough to watch him.
“I love you too”
