I just received some bad news. Almost 7 years ago our daughter Olivia was born with a rare blood incompatibility. The doctor said she was the 2nd worst case he’d seen out of the 22 he’d seen in his life. She was delivered via csection bc her heart rate dipped incredibly low, below 90. She went into cardiac arrest and was resuscitated shortly after birth. She was Simpsons yellow (not even exaggerating) within minutes of her birth and had to have a complete blood replacement. She was in the NICU for 5 or 6 days while they worked to get her bilirubin levels back up. I’m so sad to say that just 24 hours after the birth of her little sister we seem to be going through this again. Barbara’s condition is nowhere near as severe as her older sister but here she is under the light like her sister before her. My heart is in knots and I’m finding this extremely hard to go through without my mom. It’s just not fair! Please keep our #barbaraauline in your thoughts and prayers and let’s hope she gets through this without going through what our #oliviailene went through. So far they’re saying she just needs to be under the blue lights for a few days. I hope that’s all she has to go through.
