Things people told me of college

People used to tell me how once you start college you have no social life,

they spoke of how cafine would keep me running for days on end no sleep in sight.

Of papers and readings that you must read and love like the others(who I ask and all agree), How you “find yourself” and friends you will always have years later when the present is the past. But now in college I’ve not find any truths in their saying and the “everyone” they would tell me. College has not helped me find myself! It has helped me find debt and large bills which keep me awake at night, being so alone in a room of 500 people I’ve found and none would be my friend let alone say hi.

Three of the University of Vermont’s best-known dorms are in the process of being torn down. The Central Campus dorms better know to students as the ShoeBoxes, built in 1947, are vanishing from the campus but the memoirs they hold for so many Alumni with never fade. From the best view of the naked bike ride to the lifelong friendships built in those walls the dorm has been a staple for many graduates. Although these iconic dorms are coming down, they’re making way for much needed more grander residence halls.
