I can’t fucking get over Matt’s story about hiding in the closet it’s so goddamn funny to me 🤣🤣🤣 like I’m imagining it from poor Steph’s pov, she and Ollie have been looking for him and she goes and looks in the closet in her son’s bedroom and just looks up to see her husband crouched at like eye-level on a shelf like some kind of creature I can’t- 💀

I lost the ask but someone ask for the moment Steph told Matt she was pregnant so here you go.

“Matt?” Steph calls from the other room. No response. “Matt?!” Matt over his music slightly hears the call from his wife, he takes off one of his headphones just in time to hear her call again. “Matt!”

“Yes?” Matt sits up from his rag doll of a position on the couch.

“I need to show you something, in the kitchen, can you come here?”

“Yeah, I’ll be right there.” Matt sets his computer down on the coffee table in front of him and stands up. He makes his way down the stairs into the kitchen to see his wife standing back to him, facing the stove. “What’s up, Steph?”

Steph looks over her shoulder. “Take a seat, I have a surprise for you.” Matt does as his wife says and sits on one of their dining room chairs.

“Good surprise or a bad surprise?”

“Well I think it’s a good one, I hope you will too.” Steph starts to blush. Her stomach starts to do tie itself in knots. Steph turns around and she has one cupcake in her hand. She walks over to Matt.

“What’s this all about.” She sets the cupcake in front of her confused husband. Matt looks down on the cupcake and reads in crude icing writing congrats +1. He looks up to Steph who has tears in her eyes. “Hey?” Matt quickly stands up and places his hands on her arms. “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing, these are happy tears,” Steph reaches in her back pocket and fishes out a small plastic test. With shaky hands, she shows mat the clear words pregnant. Without any words, a smile flashes onto Matt’s face and he brings his wife into a kiss.

“Oh my god, we’re going to be parents.” Matt rests his forehead on Steph's and sighs. “Finally.”

“We’ve tried for so long, I’m can’t believe it’s finally happening.”

“You’re going to be an amazing mother,”

“I can feel the dad jokes coming now,” Steph chuckles.

“Oh, I’ve been building this list for years now.”
