Charming places to visit in Gdansk

Gdansk is a renowned city filled with many beautiful and amazing places. This city has historical places, enriched museums, tasty foods and very colorful nightlife. There are many places which is full of attraction and attracts tourists from all over the world. This city is known for the red brick churches and having layered by the historical events. The population of this city is 460,815 with an area of 101sq mi. Gdansk is the capital of the Pomeranian Voivodeshio, and known as the principal seaport in Poland. People love to visit here and spending here a quality time.

There are many beautiful and charming places in Gdansk. Some of these places are described below. 

Roads to Freedom Exhibition

The displayed exhibition here is representing the Polish struggle against communist rule. The presentation consisting on many events which was made against the communism. It is a nice source to know about the Polish political environment and their gaining.

 Artus Court Museum

This is a very renowned court in Poland, built in the middle of the 14th century. It is great place to visit and to know about the history of court. It will be a great experience for the traveler to visit there. A huge collection of ancient artifacts are kept here for display. You can visit and grab note about the places to remember, because a lots of information are kept there. 

Dlugi Targ

 It was once used as the main city market and the major attractions for the visitor. Local people and foreigner love to come to spend the time. The Neptune fountain which is beside the Town hall is enriched with beautiful design. There are some famous and beautiful monuments are kept here to increase the beauty. 

Central Maritime Museum

This museum is situated in three reconstructed granaries in the Olowianka Island. There is ferry service is available for the museum. The museum is showing the history of Polish seafaring from ancient time to present. This is a very beautiful place to go and spend some quality time in the middle of the sea.
