We went to the Olympia Zine Fest for a couple days last month. It was amazing and something we’ll probably do be doing every year if they keep it up. On the first day that had a zine making get together at the library with typewriters, stencils, and other making stuff, followed by some live music by a local band. They didn’t hold back volume wise (or maybe dad hasn’t heard live music for a while) and we had to leave about 10 minutes into the set. (1 of 3)
24 Hr Zine Thing at the Olympia Library! Featuring readings from Sage’s Zine Camp kids. Their zines (pictured in the bottom photo) plus another round of campers zines, will be featured in OZF’s Zine Maze exhibit at Gallery Boom from August 15-22nd, our opening event shindig August 18th and not to be missed!
