There is a motion going through UK parliament now (5th June 2026) to disapprove the EHRC Code of Practice. If passed, the Code of Practise will limit trans rights and legal protections, and give institutions greater power to segregate us.
This tool lets you find your MP and send them an email just by putting in your postcode and details.
Asking your MP to join this and support us gives us a chance at walking this back.
It takes less than 5 minutes. The email is pre-written, but you can add you own experiences and concerns.
Made a zine to distribute with info and a link/QR code to the tool. It is aimed primarily at people who aren't trans or trans allies (including latent transphobes).
Please feel free to print this off & distribute it in your area. It can be printed on A4 paper, or you can access versions that have 2 smaller copies to an A4 page here. (smaller copies saves paper, makes them easier to pocket. my distribution technique is finding tactical places in public to leave them; public transport, on tables in cafes, near other leaflets. you can hand them out directly at Prides etc if you feel confident with that).
Do test prints and folds before you print a ton of them. You can print it black and white, the red just pops if you've got the ink for it.
The 9th edition of my book, Stolen Sharpie Revolution: a DIY Resource for Zines and Zine culture has arrived!
The first edition was printed in 2002 and, with several updates over the years, the print run now sits at 46,000 copies in print!
If you need a copy because someone stole yours, you can get one here

In honor of the 2026 Milwaukee Zine Fest, I’d like to highlight a zine by a Milwaukee zine artist, Milo Miller, Big Zine, Little Zine...(a love letter), created in 2011 in San Francisco, CA.
If anyone is new to the zine scene, this alphabet book-esque primer gives an introduction to the world of zines and their communities, including some inside jokes and highlights of other creators. Miller has made many zines over their career, many of which are held in the UWM Special Collections. They are also a co-founder of QZAP, or the Queer Zine Archive Project, that makes so many queer zines accessible online.
If you are curious and want to find out more, I highly recommend checking out a zine fest or zine library in your area! Milwaukee’s Zine Fest was founded in 2008 (right here in UWM Special Collections!), and currently is hosted in the Central Branch of the Milwaukee Public Library (which also has a zine collection!). It’s a great way to support zinesters and their art, discover new zines, and meet new people!
Otherwise, there is this page by Barnard College on Zine basics, or this LibGuide by Purdue University.

Hi, my name is Aiden Harte. I'm a 25 year old non-binary trans man and writer from Texas. I'm selling my zines on Etsy to raise money for my top surgery.
I have 2 poetry zines, 1 short story zine, a personal narrative zine, and a children's story zine. Each of them is about being a queer, trans, and/or neurodivergent person.
The cost is $15 for a bundle of 3 zines of your choice. I know that may sound a bit pricey, but this cost covers shipping, materials, and the Etsy fee, with room for about $5-10 to go towards my top surgery fund.
Please share this around and buy if you can. I appreciate you supporting me, a small independent artist, and my gender affirming care.

Call for tablers in Chicago!
Table at the 2026 Zine Pavilion in Chicago!
The Zine Pavilion is a space on the exhibit floor at the American Library Association’s annual conference to display zines, meet zine librarians, and talk about how zines and libraries are a great pair. It’s like a mini zine fair at the largest gathering of librarians in the world, with over 12,000 attendees, including librarians, archivists, writers, publishers, and guest speakers. This year’s conference will be held June 26 to June 29 in Chicago at the McCormick Place Convention Center.
We’re looking for zine makers, distros, and zine libraries who would like to table at the Zine Pavilion. The Zine Pavilion will be held at the conference exhibit hall, which is open these hours:
Friday, June 26 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Saturday, June 27 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Sunday, June 28 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Monday, June 29 9:00 am – 12:30 pm
Tablers can table for a few hours on one day or up to all four days. Tables are free, but space is limited. Priority will be given to local zinesters.
If you’re interested in tabling, please fill out the form above. We will take applications through the end of April and will let everyone know whether they’ve been accepted the first week of May.
Thank you!
its an american horror story and zine folding night for me ✌️
