I went to Winter Wonderland again this Winter, and since last year I’ve wanted to design my own Olympia Looping character! I finally got the inspiration to finally put her on paper, and I’ve been working on this across the past few days! I always knew I wanted to have her hair braided in 5 loops, and finally felt confident enough to pull the design off! I also got mega brave and rode the Hangover during our trip, despite being previously terrified as drop towers. I almost told myself in a way as a reward I’d design a character for it so here we are! Because its well…themed around the movie the Hangover (which I’ve never seen) and I really like Ed Helms after watching The Office across this past year, I wanted to base my design off him! Uh. I think. He ended up looking a lot more like Rainn Wilson as Dwight Schrute, which kind of weirdly works so I kept it that way. I swear the og sketch was way more Ed Helms-y.
Character wise Olympia is very outgoing and a talented gymnast. Hank is a pathetic frantic man who’s afraid of heights despite being really tall. Hope you guys like them! I only had one Winter Wonderland trip in the cards this year but I just wish I could go back ah! Finally riding a big drop towers like that makes me feel like I can ride anything now!!!
