" 𝐢'𝐦 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞, 𝐢'𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐮𝐩, " thor said softly, unsure if tony could even hear him right now, but it was better than sitting anywhere else, just waiting for news. what else could he do? he had continually failed and he wouldn't fail tony. he had failed to protect his people, half of whom were dead and the rest without a home. he hadn't been able to stop the deaths of heimdall and loki. he had failed to stop thanos and now half of the entire universe were gone. he couldn't leave, he couldn't move because he refused to fail tony right now. thor would sit right here until he got stronger and he woke up. he hated that he would have to tell him that there was 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 that could be done. thanos had destroyed the stones and there was no way to bring everyone back. if he had aimed for the head, none of this would've happened. if he had actually killed thanos, none of this would have happened. thor had 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐝 and there was nothing that could be done to change that. sititng by tony's beside, he felt absolutely useless, but he knew no matter where he went, he would feel like that. at least here, he could potentially be useful for tony when he woke up. he could only imagine how scary it must have been for tony being stuck out there, unsure if he would be found. he should've gone out there to find him. he should've been here sooner. moving the chair closer to the bed, hand moving to take tony's, " i'm right here. i'm not going anywhere, "
