Suddenly, I'm a little kid again, watching rhythmic gymnastics on my parents' big TV in the kitchen. ^_^

It's funny how watching such a complex and difficult performance can evoke such calm feelings to watch. Maybe it's the classical music and smooth, elegance of the movements.

Now that Japan won the gold medal in women's breaking and had a semifinalist in men's breaking, I wonder how many manga/anime will be about break dancing in the coming years. Turn it into a battle manga/anime, please.

I was just remembering how Sayo Yamamoto shopped around her pitch for Yuri On Ice for years, but then after Yuzuru Hanyu won an Olympic gold, suddenly people were accepting her pitch.

Been watching Olympic Breaking, since it was its first year and I hadn’t really started watching any of the Paris 2024 Olympics yet.

When I was younger, I used to mostly watch rhythmic gymnastics and ice skating at the Olympics. Now I’m watching breaking. (And last year, I started watching some wushu competitions.) I wonder if I just like watching sports that are very dance-like.

What the fudge is going on with all the crazy stuff at the Olympics this year? ...And then i realized, it's probably always crazy, but this year i can see it on my social media feeds.

That old policy the Olympics had about disallowing sharing pics on social media, while they were desperate for ratings, really was stupid. But now, everyone is talking about the Olympics. And man, is there a lot of crazy stuff i didn't know about!
