Heyy, I’m Colin, I’m 18, I’m from the central US, and I’ll be playing Laure Williams aka Lachesis (one of the Fates) with y’all! I’m currently on my last semester of high school, and instead of focusing on “important” things like college or scholarships, I decided to join this group. Go figure. Laure grew up mainly in Glasgow, Scotland and in London, England with her fairly normal family. She had two parents that loved her dearly and two younger sisters that she loved dearly. Her family had always been very close; Laure always had her sisters’ backs and she knew that if it ever came down to it, they’d have hers. It was no surprise that they all decided to stay close to each other in LA even when they all grew up and went on their own paths.  Laure was a bit of a late bloomer when it came to adulthood. It wasn’t until her early to mid twenties that she decided she finally wanted to start studying astrology. She knew it’d be hard to make a career out of it, but due to her intuitive nature and ambition, she knew she could be successful. It also helped that the alignment of the stars and planets, and the different energies they brought with them was genuinely interesting to Laure. She had no problem working hard towards her goal.  When it came to forming close relationships, Laure had no troubles. Despite her somewhat obsessive tendencies and overbearing nature, she was easily able to make friends and get people to like her. She loves talking to people and hearing different perspectives on life. Other people fascinate her.  Laure is very in touch with nature and energy. She very much believes in karma, auras, and all that other stuff that most would simply brush off as superstition. She goes to weekly yoga classes, she has a small storage of essential and natural oils, she grows her own garden, and she would much rather be outdoors than indoors. Laure herself is heterosexual. She is a bit of a prude, as her level of sexuality is one of the most conservative things about her. She has no idea how to flirt or how to identify if someone is being flirty.

Hey guys, I took a break from rp about two years ago and I’m excited to get back into it & to meet all of you. If there’s anything you’re curious about my boy Percy or want to plot then my dms are always open. :) I hope we have a fantastic time rping together.

➺ The Past

          Percy Damien Jones was born on December 12th in 1988 to Johanna Mary Jones, a single mother living in a small two bedroom apartment in Santa Barbara, California. Johanna had no interest in going out to meet new people or to get back into the dating scene after Percy’s father split, completely satisfied with putting all her time and effort into her son. Percy grew up extremely close to his mother, she was both his parent and best friend.

           He joined the Army when he was eighteen years old and was just beginning to serve his first tour when he got a letter that his mother had been in an accident with a drunk driver; they told him that she died upon impact. Percy didn’t give himself time to grieve, knowing that if he did then it would be impossible for him to move through the horrors that came from war.

          Percy had served two tours and turned twenty-three before he was sent home with a diagnosis of PTSD. Only when he was back in his old two bedroom apartment did it finally hit him that the person who meant the most to him was gone. There were times over the next couple of years when he didn’t know if he would be able to make it past the death of his mother and internal struggles he was facing. He spent countless nights awake, trying to exhaust himself enough that he could sleep without nightmares.

          To keep himself moving he knew that he had to find something to put his energy into and that’s when his friend suggested that he begin training as an EMT. Immediately Percy loved it, loved being able to help people and maybe save someone else’s mother. He finished an EMT program that usually lasted two years in one, instantly finding work with the high recommendations he had from instructors.

➺ The Present

          Currently Percy lives in a small apartment with his siberian husky Chimera and a stray cat who loves slipping into his apartment on stormy or cold nights only to leave when the sun is back out; he affectionately named the green eyed black cat Beetlejuice and he always makes sure to set some food outside for the feline before he goes to work every morning. He’s always preferred to keep his life in routine, getting overly anxious when things don’t always go as planned.

Current Residence: Los Angeles, California

Patrick was born in Vancouver, Canada and lived there until he was 14 years old before he father died in a car accident on his way home from one of his numerous work trips and his mother decided it was better to move away from the old memories.

His mother moved them to Los Angeles and that’s when Patrick started to get rebellious. He hadn’t wanted to move and he took out his ill feelings in less than productive ways.

Growing up neither of his parents were emotionally available people and often brushed Patrick’s feelings off. This caused him to internalize a lot of his emotions which would always eventually overflow at some point. He’s not good at showing his emotions and he doesn’t like people seeing him in a vulnerable state so he tends to keep them to himself.

It wasn’t until his junior year of high school when he almost got kicked out of school that he started cleaning his act up. He might have hated his mother but he did have hopes for the future. At least enough to make it the rest of the way through school with high enough grades to get a scholarship and he did, attending the California State University in Los Angeles; working up to his masters in forensic science.

If there was one thing Patrick had always loved about Los Angeles it was the ocean, he’d go out and walk along the beach just watching the waves and listening to the sounds of the sea. It always seemed to have a very relaxing effect on him and because of that he decided to take up surfing lessons. Now he’s a pretty average surfer and like to spend his free days off out on the water.

        hey everyone !!   i’m bloom ,  a real - life mersloth ,   &&  this right here is  sailor moon ...  just kidding ,  although i’m 100% sure sierra watched that show as a kid .  i intend to make longer posts / add pages to the blog with in depth information about stuff i think needs to be explored, but just so you can get a feel for my girl;

she has no memories of being selene.  HOWEVER,  sierra always thought of herself as different from others in a way she couldn’t quite point out.

she has been obsessed with the moon ever since she was little.  her nursery was galaxy themed,  &&  her love for the moon grew into a passion for everything related to astronomy  ---  hence her career.  she absolutely hates physics  &&  such ,  but it’s a small price to pay.

she is very friendly / out-going ,  but likes being alone.  while other people like to party ,  she’ll often pass the opportunity  &&  just stay at home watching movies / tv shows or reading a book .  regardless ,  she cherishes those surround her  &&  would do anything for them .

her wardrobe consists of grey / silver - ish tones ,  white ,  black ,  little pops of color every here  &&  there  &&  plenty of silver jewelry .  she likes sparkly things .

she is an only child ,  but grew up wishing she had siblings .  she often wonders if being a sister would have made her less comfortable with solitude .

sierra is extremely impulsive .  if something makes sense to her in the moment ,  she’ll go through with it even if it means regretting her choices later on .  she is also very confident in her own opinions ,  &&  likes to think of herself as someone who has an answer for everything .

okie this is gna be bullet points bc im lazy and most of u at least know a lil bit about him

percy was born in the heart of london, england to two parents who didn’t actually want to be parents

his mother, eliza copley, was a socialite and a lawyer for stanton & grey, percy’s father’s (richard stanton) inherited law firm (which is one of the most prestigious in england)

their affair was a quick one after a night of drinking, but of course, it ended up in pregnancy

once eliza learned she was pregnant, her and richard quickly married because they came from the type of world where the image would be tarnished if they weren’t married

eliza & richard didn’t hate each other, but they were like oil and water

along with that fact, they both had busy schedules and not much time to care for a kid

in turn, percy was raised by a nanny by the name of lilia who basically became his mother

even with the mother figure in his life, he vied for the attention of his parents

nothing seemed to be good enough for eliza & richard when they paid attention (which was rare) and most times they just supplied money for percy to spend, thinking that an endless supply of things he wanted would make him happy

along w being absent parents, eliza & richard also fought like cats and dogs. their big estate just outside of london didn’t seem to be big enough as yelling from across the mansion was a common thing

but, even after everything, they wouldn’t get divorced and tarnish their image, so they just stuck to their unhappy marriage

to outsiders, the stanton family was golden but once you looked too close you saw all the cracks and scratches

to cope, percy began writing. he used it as an escape to make new worlds where a mother was never absent and a father was never harsh

he was actually quite good at it, and even excelled in his other classes

his father, although absent, wanted him to be a lawyer (ofc, bc the whole big thing in his fam is being a lawyer) 

percy was like nah fam and because his parents were actually shitty, they didn’t care much that he wanted to be a screenwriter bc they didn’t care much in general

so, off to LA he goes after going to the new york film academy and graduating from there

he started off doing some small jobs but now is working his way up

so basically the whole story of when i dropped him as a char for a bit is that his mom got diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer and he went back to london to help sort everything out

well, she ended up passing away and although percy was never close to his mother and she seemed very distant, he still loved her ofc and is very torn up

so basically he’s gonna be rly emo

as for personality when he’s not emo, percy is a lil softie

he’s very charismatic and charming but he can be forgiving....well too forgiving

he likes to think people are good at heart and have the best intentions but in reality, some ppl just don’ti

The Goddess:

- Nix is the reincarnation of Nyx, the goddess of Night, Mother of the gods of Sleep, Death, Strife, and Pain (Yippee!). 

- She’s one of the primordial Gods, having been there from the dawn of time. 

   The Girl:

- Nix was born in December 21. She was found at a fire station at only a few days old and promptly placed into the system. She was never adopted but spent short stints in various foster homes and was almost adopted once before the courts decided to send her back here and she’s stayed since. She doesn’t like talking about it. 

-Nix is an astronomy Major at the local community college. She received a partial scholarship for her grades and She puts herself through school by working as a waitress and a free-lance songwriter. 

-Nix is a Night Owl, she is constantly wandering around the city well past midnight and uses what she sees as most of her song inspiration. If it is Daytime and she’s not working, she’d most likely be in the coffee shop, studio, or library-studying. 

- If There was one word to describe Nix it’d be determined. Despite her rough beginnings, she refuses to use it as an excuse to not try her hardest. 

- She is allergic to stupidity...and ragweed. 

- She has one cat named Ere. 

- Her favorite color is blue. 

-She has a tattoo of a crescent moon on her left wrist.

hi everyone i’m layla and i’m sorry i didn’t get this up sooner but i’m super busy 24/7 and so i’m only getting to this now!! this is just gonna be a quick summary of hadley (who was formerly helios)!

Is that TOBY REGBO? No, that’s just HADLEY MASON, the 23 year old MODEL. In Olympus HE was actually HELIOS but they have SOME recollection of that.

he’s originally from maine but was raised in california, and he was brought up to be very unbiased but also kind. he was an only child but was not very spoiled (since he was basically raised by hippies).

he started to do modeling at the age of fifteen, and at first did not enjoy doing it. but, at the time it seemed better than going through extra years of school to get a higher degree, so he stuck with it.

for his personality, like i said earlier he is unbiased and kind, but he is also quite a know-it-all at times and is not really one to be a people pleaser, since he does things that he thinks he should and does not care for what other people think. when it comes to relationships, he’s very sentimental and always affectionate.

hadley is not one for nicknames, but with people he is super close to, he could deal with being called hallie or lee sometimes.

hey!! i’m jayne and i always never know what to write for introduction posts. i’m gonna be playing my boy, dominic (formerly deimos)! on this post, you’ll find a not so long introduction, just a few general points about him! if anyone is interested in plotting anything, feel free to message me or like this post and i’ll hit you up!!

so, in case anyone doesn’t really know about deimos, deimos is the son of ares and aphrodite. he is the twin brother of phobos and nephew of the goddess enyo who accompanied her brother ares into battle, as well as his father’s attendants, trembling, fear, dread and panic.

since he was the god of terror, dom is completely fearless and quite the daredevil. he can be quite the troublemaker and finds it very hilarious sometimes to piss people off. but, don’t let this fool you; he’s very intelligent and he overthinks everything presented to him. 

this foolhardy and intimidating behavior dominic has developed has helped him become an actor who has become pretty well known for his age (even though he kind of isn’t enjoying this whole ‘fame’ thing). 

dom was adopted (by parents who ended up being not so good anyways) and has never met his actual parents, which has always been a problem with him. 

he remembers nothing from his past life, and doesn’t believe in any gods, surprisingly! if he did remember anything from his past, he would disregard all of it and just think that he was going absolutely crazy. 

dom is bisexual, and really doesn’t have a preference for either gender. he’s quite open-minded about sexuality and has always been.
