      Sparkly eyes grow wide at the redhead’s explanation;  ❝  Wow, that sounds like quite the plot ...  I like it.  ❞  There’s a smile growing on rosy lips, possibly because of the sudden interest she’s found in the book.  Sierra had a weakness for well - written stories, the kind she could read for days on end without noticing the time pass.  Perhaps she would give this one a shot!  ❝  How do you like it so far, is it as good as the other one?  ❞

Maxine had been so immersed in the the new historical fiction book she’d picked up at the book store that she’d barely heard the voice as it called out to her. Looking up from the book her head was buried in, she offered a confused smile as the words were delayed in having registered in her brain. “Oh- sure, of course.” She pulled her cup of chai tea closer to her, making space for the girl. “sorry about that I tend to get lost in these.” She held up the book that had previously captured her attention.

        ❝  No worries; we all get distracted sometimes  ---  even more so with books.  ❞   And the blonde was no less guilty than the redhead. Taking the seat, Sierra offered a grateful smile to the other before sipping from her café au lait, her manicured fingertips tapping lightly against the cup before setting it on the table.  ❝  What are you reading, if you don’t mind my asking?  ❞  She inquired, genuine interest blossoming in her eyes.

“Is not so please, take a seat.” He said smiling and making a hand gesture to show that she could take the seat. “The place has been getting more and more crowded lately, but if you don’t mind me asking, why have you been walking all day?”

     ❝  Thank you.  ❞   Her response comes with a slight nod alongside a smile ,  and the blonde is quick to take the seat.  With a pale hand, she brought the cup of café au lait close to rosy lips, sipping from it for a second or two before speaking once again.  Now this would be embarrassing.  ❝  Well ...  You see, I was driving to work today when my car decided to break down on me.  I paid no mind to it at first, because I was already so close to my workplace that walking there seemed to be not a bad idea. However, I get out during rush hour and no taxis or anything like that seemed to be available, so I decided to walk home after spending the entire day working and searching for research material in a dozen different bookshops. Not my smartest idea, if I’m being honest.  ❞

🌙  . : INTRODUCTION

        hey everyone !!   i’m bloom ,  a real - life mersloth ,   &&  this right here is  sailor moon ...  just kidding ,  although i’m 100% sure sierra watched that show as a kid .  i intend to make longer posts / add pages to the blog with in depth information about stuff i think needs to be explored, but just so you can get a feel for my girl;

she has no memories of being selene.  HOWEVER,  sierra always thought of herself as different from others in a way she couldn’t quite point out.

she has been obsessed with the moon ever since she was little.  her nursery was galaxy themed,  &&  her love for the moon grew into a passion for everything related to astronomy  ---  hence her career.  she absolutely hates physics  &&  such ,  but it’s a small price to pay.

she is very friendly / out-going ,  but likes being alone.  while other people like to party ,  she’ll often pass the opportunity  &&  just stay at home watching movies / tv shows or reading a book .  regardless ,  she cherishes those surround her  &&  would do anything for them .

her wardrobe consists of grey / silver - ish tones ,  white ,  black ,  little pops of color every here  &&  there  &&  plenty of silver jewelry .  she likes sparkly things .

she is an only child ,  but grew up wishing she had siblings .  she often wonders if being a sister would have made her less comfortable with solitude .

sierra is extremely impulsive .  if something makes sense to her in the moment ,  she’ll go through with it even if it means regretting her choices later on .  she is also very confident in her own opinions ,  &&  likes to think of herself as someone who has an answer for everything .

Is that [IMOGEN POOTS] ? No, that’s just [SIERRA MEDICI] the [TWENTY - THREE] year old [ASTRONOMER]. In Olympus [SHE] was actually [SELENE] but they have [NO] recollection of that. They are said to be [CLEVER] and [HELPFUL] but also [STUBBORN] and [RECLUSIVE]. They [ARE NOT] an ally of Kronos.
