The Bruchsal castle in the Baroque style was built 1720 at the request of the Prince Bishop Damian Hugo Philipp von Schönborn from Lossburger sandstone. It is in the core to a three wings, which dates back to the planning kurmainzischen Senior Construction Director Maximilian von Welsch.
