it’s been a while…

but, would anyone be interested in a byler fanfic?

i wrote two short chapters centered around fears that i believe will and mike might have. mike has misophonia (hatred of sound) and can’t find a place to read since his ears are always irritated by subtle noises. but, he suddenly feels right at place in the basement where will is painting. same goes with will, who has ombrophobia (fear of the rain), goes through a panic attack and is comforted by mike.

It’s right after season 4, so I’m also writing a (mutual) breakup for mileven. I’m planning around five chapters, centered around each of the five senses :) it’s a bit of a slowburn, too.

if anyone is interested, I’d love to know. I’ll finish it anyway since I began it to get my mind off the horrible season 5 ending, but I’d also love to post it if people want it!

Feel like we, as a society, don’t talk enough about how some phobias are legitimately disabling.

Like, i have SEVERE ombrophobia, and i can not function if it’s raining. I break down and cry. There were times in high school where i’d call my mom crying for her to come pick me up because i was legitimately having a mental breakdown.

I can not function in the rain, if there’s even a chance i’ll get wet i cry. And i live in CALIFORNIA, where the rainstorms are few and far between but LORD when it rains it’s like Poseidon is having an argument with his wife.

I get that rain is important and purposeful and intentional in the earths health itself and therefore all beings that reside on it's health too, I get that it's very pretty to look at but GODS do I not want it to touch me
