I’ve never properly displayed Test and Bio’s relationship and it’s essentially this but it can get a bit more interesting at times.

Tell me about the omega lab :3 What's goin on there? Where IS the omega lab?

Alright baseline Omega Lab lore-

The omega lab is located in the Omega Timeline (the dimension in the Undertale AU multiverse where all the different timelines intersect, it acts like a peaceful sanctuary for stranded beings and stuff if you didn’t know what it was already-). It’s pretty far off from the main area, about a 30 minute walk from the outskirts of the populated portion, completely standalone. It was started by a mysterious group of entities who sought to study the functions of magic and magical lifeforms in the wider multiverse, with their goals often being to create new monsters and other types of magical beings artificially. Core!Frisk, the omnipresent keeper of the Omega Timeline(not my character, they and the Omega Timeline are pre-existing concepts), doesn’t have any hand in it. They usually turn a blind eye to it, often shrugging when asked about it, which is sketchy in its own right.

The proper “plot” of Omega Lab (not really a plot as it’s not a series but still) is about Test, a sans variant who lost his universe in an accident and was sent to work at the lab due to “unruly behavior”, and his life working at the facility.

This life usually includes basic custodian work, mild testing work, and a LOT of running from lab-created entities whenever they breach containment. He becomes notably close to three of these experiments and it’s kinda just plotless shenanigans and character dynamic development from there.
