Ever since a few years ago, Keith has had issues with his body. Taking medication to stop it, nothing makes him feel better than having Shiro near.

"Mmmm..." Keith started to drift against as darkness weaved into the edges of his vision, "Not sick...From medication..." "From medica-?" Keith didn't hear more and assumed Shiro stopped talking. Risking a glance at the man, he noticed his best friend looked pained, "Must be strong medication." "I'm 'ine," Keith sighed as he relaxed against Shiro's warm, large hand, "Just side effect from it." "Keith," the hand rubbed at his face, but Keith couldn't do anything but blink and lean more, "Keith. Medicine shouldn't make you this sick. You shouldn't have to be this sick on medicine."

i remember keith being skittish and not trusting shiro at first, then they get together and spend their respective heats/ruts with eachother

Keith can't get out of talking to him. "Yeah," he says to the floor. "Nice." He doesn't say anything else. Maybe the alpha will leave him alone. "I'm Shiro," the man says instead of leaving Keith alone. But he doesn't hold out his hand to shake. Instead he does the way less intimidating, way more polite finger wiggle-wave that doesn't force omegas to make contact with alphas they don't know. Keith swallows. He doesn't get waved to very often. Most alphas he's dealt with say screw politeness and go right into trying to touch. "Keith.”

Do you know of any fics with Omega!Keith that aren't omegaverse? Basically Keith's Galra genes kick in and Shiro (human in every way) helps him through heats or whatever else omegas go through. Thank you.

Dominic realizes now that he may have to find a mate soonish. Mostly because he’s recognizing through town records that unmated childless alphas don’t live to see old age, and because of the intense social pressure in Carwood for alphas to carry on their line. He dislikes how mating seems to change a person, he’s seen alphas completely change when men that had been reasonable go on out of control jealous rages when someone looks at their omega wrong. For a man who likes to be in control of himself completely, this doesn’t appeal to him in the slightest. He’s prepared to approach mating like he would any other business deal, but some part of him wouldn’t mind finding a partner that arouses his curiosity and interest.

Dominic’s omega mother died when he was still young. His alpha father brought another omega into the house, and though it was clear their relationship wasn’t as close he has a number of half brothers. They had a large house growing up, but between his father’s tendency to gamble and the number of children he had to support there wasn’t much they could afford. Despite the nice house (nothing like the modern alpha estates) his family could be considered poor.

Dominic was good at making friends in school, regularly running with a few people at any given time. Few of them got close enough to be considered confidants or to really know Dominic well, he tended to be emotionally distant even from his friends. But it was easy enough when all they really shared were sports, parties, and leering at omegas in their free time. He had a close confidant with one of his police partners when he was a uniformed officer.
