In the era of dial-up, before YouTube, Netflix, and Crunchyroll, Japanese companies collaborated to launch W VISION. I wrote about my experience with this little forgotten experiment in early video-on-demand.

Updated the logo icon to actually make it look like a floppy disc like I tried before. It’s an homage to the floppy disc I carried with me everywhere with my text files of diary and contacts, batch files, as well as my GeoCities website.
I wrote about that floppy a few times on my site. The first time was in “Beige Boxes.” Later again in “Copy That Floppy,” accompanied by pictures of colourful floppy discs:
