TW: self-diagnosing
I think I'm bipolar, just hear me out, ok?
My friends always complaned about my mood/humor changing and I also noticed. And that complicated my relationships a lot, like friendships and family.
I never thought much of it but last year I've saw a lot of this 'system' videos, and that kinda reminded me of people who also moods changes a lot, then I tried figuring out if I had DID (or also MPD) , but I don't think so, because DID is a "complex mental health condition where a person experiences two or more distinct identity states, often called "alters" or "parts," which take control of behavior at different times", and I don't have any alters.
while bipolar is "a mental health condition causing extreme shifts in mood, energy, and activity levels, moving between emotional highs (mania or hypomania) and lows (depression), impacting daily functioning"
I did felt depression and mania, it did impact my daily functioning (and even my childhood), I had a lot of shifts in my moods, energy and activities levels.
I didn't want to assume I had it and I made some tests online, most said I did have and should see psychiatrist, but I'm too scared to actually talk to my parents about this topic because:
one: I'm a minor and it has been not a long time since I ended my childhood (I'm still a child but also a teen according to some people I met)
two: a psychiatrist would cost a lot of money and I don't want to bother them with that
three: I'm too scared to talk with a educated adult about this, like: "what do you mean this queer young teen is asking me if they have bipolarity?"
also storytime: I had a relationship with someone on discord, we really loved eachother but my bipolarity changed my mood soo much that I kinda wanted to end the relationship, but I still wanted her friendship. I talked with her about wanting to break up, she accepted it, but she was having a bad time at home and was even more sad. But we are okay with eachother and are best friends! (my side, ofc). she also started liking her other best friend, and I try helping her about if she should ask him out.
CONCLUSION: I'm sure I am bipolar and nothing will change that.
brainrot so bad that everytime i see “omg” i read it as omga
