It has been an incredibly long night but Elliott is no longer in danger of dying. I was honestly pretty sure last night would be his last since his breathing was so shallow and he was largely unresponsive to any stimuli. Luckily, we don't tend to throw in the towel even when we fear it is hopeless and Elliott benefitted from that today. He's currently comfortably asleep in our bed between us after eating some syringe fed breakfast. While it was a pretty rough night it was nice to have a piggie to cuddle.
