EXCITEMENT!
I now have tickets to go see Snow Patrol at the Aragon Ballroom in April.
I AM SO EXCITED I CANNOT EVEN TELL YOU.
Seeing them live is totally on my bucket list, and I'm STILL BITTER about the whole Royal Albert Hall debacle. (ONE. DAY. BEHIND MY HOSTEL.) To make matters worse? The recorded performance that comes on with the deluxe edition of their new cd? Recorded (partially) at that performance. I AM BEING TAUNTED BY SNOW PATROL.
Whatever, still get to see them! YAY!
I'm also still settling in to their new record. It's harder because I loved One Hundred Million Suns SO MUCH, and the tone and sound of the new record is... very much not One Hundred Million Suns. Much like Jimmy Eat World's Invention, and Florence + The Machine's Ceremonials. (I've since fallen desperately in love with Invention and am much warmer towards Ceremonials than I was at the first listen.) Anyway, I shall have to listen to it a few times before going in one direction or another with it.
