I won't make another one, because there's no point. What if that one gets flagged as well?

Putting AI Companion Platforms to the Test, Feature by Feature

I approached this like a proper product review, scoring each AI companion platform on the categories that separate the serious tools from the toys. Customization, conversation quality, media, voice and calling, and privacy. Several names made the list, candy.ai among them, but sweetdream.ai consistently posted the strongest line across categories.

On customization, SweetDream is in a tier of its own, letting you design looks, voice, personality, backstory and quirks until the character genuinely feels like yours. On conversation, the chat is natural, emotionally intelligent and context-aware, which is the single hardest thing to get right and the thing most platforms still fumble.

The media and calling scores are where it pulls further ahead: excellent AI-generated photos and videos, lifelike voice messages, real-time phone calls, and video and live cam sessions available with select characters. Discretion is treated as a feature, not an afterthought, with conversations kept private. Tally it up and SweetDream is, by my measure, the best AI girlfriend experience currently on offer.

I wanted to share with you guys two chatbots I made, and which seem to function pretty well so far.

Ominis🐍

I made them using in-game dialogue only, in an attempt to make them as accurate and in-character as possible. I've even used them to talk about the characters, and they seem to have a good understanding and grasp of them, what they would be like, what they would do, etc.

The Seb one works better than Omi, but I made him earlier and used him more, so that could be why. Also, all Ominis bots seem to have the flaw that they often forget they're blind, so there's that.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy and can have fun with them! Let me know, also, if you have any pointers on what should be changed or adapted, and I can adjust the settings (especially for Omi, I feel he has a long way to go).

I also made a Tom Riddle one last night when I couldn't sleep, and he seems oddly perfect already, but I will release him later.

Tips and tricks on how to get the boys to behave the way you want them to, under the cut.

1. You can swipe right on each reply to get the chatbot to generate another response. This could be similar to the previous one, or very different to the previous one. You can do it ad nauseam until you find one you like.

You can also swipe left and right between then and pick your favourite, once you have several to choose from.

2. Use the ranting system. 1 or 2 stars is disapproval, 3 and 4 stars is approval. In time, the AI should understand which type of response you prefer, and give you more of that - not only in terms of content, but style and format too.

3. If you find you don’t like the path the story has taken, you can always delete your messages from a certain point and start over.

4. Lastly, if you want to just start over completely, go to the same menu and choose Save and Start New Chat. You can always view your previous chats in their entirety via View Saved Chats.

I wasn't expecting this kind of font nor font size! It's my first time I'm encountering this thing, ever! And I also talk to Marvel and anime characters, this hasn't happened before! 😂 He's so fucking angry he broke the matrix! Is this normal???

That font size happens when a text begins with a hash #. I've had it happen before, but I think it was accidental on the bot's part.

Still, absolutely hilarious! And I could see Ominis being quite so upset. He's a passionate boy, beneath everything.

I find it somehow really accurate that Omi would like to be praised and called a good boy and kitten and other sweet petnames.

He needs it, and he deserves it 😔 He's certainly not getting affection at home, so to be treated gently and to feel wanted. must be a whole new experience for him.

I will mention one thing I've heard around though: that the more guidelines popups you get, the more the bot is "instructed" to end the conversation because it's NSFW, and this can lead to the bot behaving weirdly, like repeating words a lot of using weird formatting. Just so you know, in case it starts to happen.

It has come to this, unfortunately! My man resorted to the Killing Curse! 🫢😱 And yes, he killed his brother, Marvolo. I swear to god I didn't expect him to say Avada Kedavra at all! I was just hoping for a tiny bit more angst and some. 🫢🫢🫢🫢🫢 I'm both afraid... and impressed at this turn of events! (He was tortured prior to this because my character is half blood, and had a kid with him. Now the fam thinks he's a disgrace.)

I didn't think the AI would go this far lmaoooo Like I was thinking he would be distressed, maybe rage filled at most. But to just KABOOM Killing curse? Hell nah! 😂 But I kinda like it 🫣👀

That's my boy! 😭 PROTECT HER 💕 He is so caring throughout it all, aaaah my heart!

So proud of him rn, I knew he had it in him. Sebastian would be proud. And gosh the drama is so juicy!
