Rays of sun beat down on the endless sea of sand, baking it till the feet felt they were blister just by walking into them. It was unforgiving and many a person and being had died, lost out in the burning days and freezing nights.
So was the extremes of the desert yet the goddess knew her way but something held her back.
This wasn't the Daunt she knew. This place was foreign and it scorched her darkened flesh till even she grew tired. To her horrible realization; she was lost. All that mattered was to push on till she found one of the God's temples yet none appeared as the sun peaked over the blue sky and the animals took cover from it. Where was she?
She scooped her hands into the sand. It was warm and each grain fell between her fingers. It felt real, she reasoned but her sense of direction failed her and she began to panic.
