➳ "Of course I’m willing to help. Assuming it’s… my expertise?” He cocked a curious eyebrow at her, then turned to shove all the jars into his messenger bag and slide cash to the girl behind the counter. Tugging Khione along by her hand, they ended up outside again, where Stan took a deep haul of air as if he’d been holding his breath. “God, I always hate the scent of disinfectant… So, what can I do for you? The payment will be… well, sort of taken while we’re at it. Don’t worry about it. It’ll help you sleep anyway.”
She smiled widely, following him as he had her hand in his grip. "Disinfectant's so unnecessary, and they overload it in those stores." she nodded in agreement, wondering where they were going. But she remembered where they were.
"Don't worry- it's something I'm sure, that you're the only one who can help with. And if I had to be honest, you're the only one I'd approach." she mumbled, eyes trained on his lips. She needed help sleeping, she needed this, she needed, and she just neeed something to rub out the tension before spring begun. "If I could ask, where are we headed?"
