Ruthie felt her hand land on her and do the motions of petting her as she was surprised. 

Do they also believe in the star spirits enough to be able to pet them? How is it that they can pet her, hug her and yet just even feel her fur? 

Being so confused and so curious as to why it’s been happening, she’d just let it happen. Ruthie decided to stop asking and thinking of questions to herself and just let these events happen. 

She couldn’t believe it as it felt nice to get pets again. Getting pets were one of her favorite things to recieve when it comes from others who enjoy petting her. The hands or even paws of those who pet her always has helped them feel comfortable along with even herself feeling comfortable. Seeing them comfortable with petting her, it also helped her feel comfortable around them. It was always a good feeling to get pets after so long of not being able to.

She couldn’t help but also let tears fall down as she leans and nuzzles into her hand. Cuddling her hand in return for the petting, she purred a bit as tiny star speaks flew off and disappeared. More stars appeared on her bit by bit whenever any tiny star specks disappear. 

Ruthie hiccups a bit as a response to slowly sobbing again. The feel of being petted again after so long felt so nice and relaxing that she couldn’t help herself once again. She’d wish the petting could never stop but it had to at some point. Yes, she was sad about that but she’ll happily enjoy it while she can. 

She hiccups a bit again as she tries to calm herself down to look up at her in the eyes. Her starry eyes sparkled more than ever as she manages to smile before speaking.

“T-thank ya~…”
