Here are Meza and Adohan again! I wanted to draw them in my more realistic style, but with a similar composition to my previous post XDD I imagine this as a royal portrait of sorts, where Meza takes the focus while Adohan stands close by as his right hand!

Alrighty, so! To those who wanted to see my old old art, back when I drew traditionally, I’ve managed to scrounge up a few pieces from my 2011-2013 sketchbooks (I’ve included a picture here loll):

I have eleven of these large sketchbooks lmaoo And looking through them was quite a trip! Around 2011, I went through a Shugo Chara phase, and then my style changed more as I was inspired by webcomic artists, etc.

Unfortunately, I also had a tendency to tear some pages out; I know I drew a few comics and I can’t remember where I put those loose pages. Maybe I’ll try looking for them later ^^;;;

The following pictures feature my current OCs (since they take up the most space in these sketchbooks loll) And I’m super sorry for my camera’s terrible quality! T_T

To start with, here’s the first drawing I did of Trila, Elza, Brave, and Mintla (from 2012), and some following sketches:

And that one time I tried to give them modern looks:

Now for a comparison! Here’s my most recent painting of them:

I kept some of the old elements in their designs, such as their colour palettes; there’s also Mintla’s high collar, Elza’s “turtleneck,” and Trila’s puffy sleeves and the lace on her bodice. The removal of Trila’s bangs (actually, all of their bangs save for Elza and Coeli’s) was done last year XDD

As before, I tried to keep their main colour palettes; as for what’s changed, well ... their whole designs lmaoo Sol’s personality has also changed somewhat; I remember she (and Mintla) was one of the more “edgier” ones, but then I developed her to be a more passionate, extroverted type XDD

And finally, a drawing of Musicanna and her odd, initial design; I can’t remember when I first drew her, so this will have to do for now:

I loved revamping all of their designs, but I think Musicanna’s was the most cathartic for me loll Just giving her some manageable clothes and adding all the embroidery was super fun!

I’ve been neglecting plenty of OCs for a long while, so I thought I’d spent some time with these two: the Sun Prince Mezadrionar “Meza,” and his bodyguard Adohan, a Star-Gazer. This painting is a bit messy because I just wanted to draw loose and easy for now XDD

Another year, another batch of new portraits featuring my ten major OCs! I put together all that I’d learned from my portrait/rendering practice, and even experimented a bit with lighting! There’s still lots for me to learn, but overall, I’m super happy with how they turned out <333

Since I mostly wanted to focus on their faces, I ended up leaving out the details from their clothes (which can be found in their portraits from last year, where I focused more on their clothing designs).

The first four sisters are, Mintla, Elza, Brave, and Trila; next is Musicanna, their cousin and an only child; and the last five sisters (and also the others’ cousins) are, Coeli, Fata, Sol, Lactea, and Sidera!

Another prophet portrait, featuring Rune; and her eldest daughter, Lullia, who gains the ability to turn into a demon! She rarely uses it though -- only in the most dire of situations will she consider it ^^;;

I felt like going back to my prophet OCs, so here’s some new portraits! I decided to leave it as a sketch so that I could focus on his face and the colours :D

The first one is Aurelydan, shown at the height of his power. The second is Athel; it’s said among the elves that if you look upon his angered face, you’ll see the wrath of his patron god, Cadran (god of magic and the elves’ creator).

Here's Aurelydan, the young Prince Imperial of an empire, and his bodyguard, Avoran. They have a parent-child dynamic given that Aury’s father (the emperor) is pretty bad ^^;;; And because of that, I ended up giving Aury lots of father-figures! loll

The sisters Mintla and Elza in their youth! Mintla’s the elf btw XDD They’re off on an adventure through the forest; who knows where it’ll lead? :D
