Okay so like.

You guys ever get brain rot so deep that you have a sidebar in your own brain and then suddenly you’ve taken a break from a longfic you wrote to write a sequel mostly about the OC kid of your OTP from the original fic- which you haven’t finished…?

Because I have.

I am still writing (another) Rose Tyler x Malcolm Tucker (aka human TwelveRose)- this time a long fic.

But I also got this idea for a story about their son. And it gave me such brain rot that I finished the sequel.

I am genuinely tempted to go ahead and post it.

The synopsis is basically this-

Rose and Malcolm’s son is the 32 yo PM of the UK- and he’s politically a genius. But he’s also young and stupid. So when his campaign manager suggests his girlfriend isn’t “good for optics”, he takes the man’s advice and breaks it off.

And begins to self-destruct.

Rose and Malcolm have to use the past they had to overcome together when Malcolm was also full of ambition and anger- in order to help their boy.

I dunno if anyone would read it. It would be like… idk. An appetizer for the long fic.
