Decatur Central Railroad
Passing through Cisco, Illinois, recently, I ran across these two units. They are power for a short line called the Decatur Central Railroad which runs thirteen miles between Decatur and Cisco, a former Illinois Central line. Both of these units are EMD GP38-2s that were built for the Penn Central in 1972, one sporting a paint scheme for a Texas road.
