“It’s all fine, Satsuki-sama! Even this will...”
Mako ripped open the pack of familiar, yellow noodles and gathered them up onto the cold marble countertop. The sauce sizzled. Yes--yes! Her great plan was complete! They were flash frozen, as well, these noodles! Flash frozen. In the packaging. Flash frozen in the packaging--dollar signs alighted in her eyes. Today it was! The day she’ll be able to show off her practice! Watch out; she’ll be the no-star of the cooking club for life! Well, she’s kinda graduated, but no matter.
...Hehe. Sometimes her own thoughts cracked her up. Mako bellowed a hearty (& humble) laugh. Sizzle. Squirt--the tomatoes were starting to flicker out of the pan. This was perfect. Absolutely. Even Satsuki-sama’d smile at this--Mako had gotten the tomatoes from the black market in the back alley down in left, right street--two steps from the sewer there’s a curtain; inside of that curtain is a cardboard box, and in that cardboard box is a little bingo card. It’s replaced every week. Every. Single. Time. One pencil. She sometimes got it right--sometimes the pattern was wrong, but she’d barge in anyways; she’s a Mankanshoku, after all. The bingo card was just fun to fill out.
She snapped the noodles in half. The whole thing--gathered up all right there--in half. Crickle. Crackle. Snap, snap; snap snap. Tiny pieces of shrapnel were suspended into the air--as if time stopped.... Objection! As if this lowly commoner had stopped time in it’s tracks, BY HERSELF; this power--! It could only be ... Pfft. Yeah right.
“Even this will cheer you up! Spaghetti noodles break into four pieces, you know!”
au where satsuki-sama can control each lock of hair (about 1-2½ cm thick) separately with her mind and at the end of the series it’s like HAIR GRAPPLES and she subdues her foes all medusa-hair style
