It’s been a day lol
Welcome one and all to another step in the life that is me! So, if you’ll originally remember, I once identified as a celtic polytheist because I was just so certain that one of their goddesses (Flidais) was calling out to me.
Ahah, I was wrong.
I kinda just always... assumed, I didn’t have any divination tools to work with, I have celtic blood in me, and one of my friends was a celtic pagan so I figured everything was just going to work that way.
But then, of course, it didn’t. I finally got my hands on some divination, namely two oracle decks and a pendulum and after feeling a particular energy last night, like I was holding someone’s hand, I had to try this. Now, it occurred when I was researching Epona, so I figured, hey, it’s probably Epona.
Did my first oracle reading, it sounded like her, what with journeys and whatnot, but something about it didn’t feel right. Tried it a second time because the cards were confusing, it got even less like Epona and it seemed more Loki like, especially since I had been looking at him literally today and ever since I was thinking of Norse paganism, I’ve gotten nosebleeds, a rare thing that hasn’t happened in a while. I got a nosebleed looking at what Tumblr had on Loki. So, deciding to just get to the hard questions, I pull out my pendulum after it was done being officially cleansed and programmed, I set up my signs, start asking my questions.
“Are you Epona?”
“No.”
“Celtic pantheon?”
“No.”
“Are you Loki?”
“Yes.”
Ding, ding, ding, I got fucking clarity at long last!! I asked more questions, if he’d been watching me for long, if other gods (namely Odin since I’ve been seeing raven’s around for a bit) were watching me, the answer was again yes, and if he liked the brownie offering I had set up to talk to whoever had shown up last night. More talking had me realizing, I should be looking towards the Norse traditions, so as of now, I’m currently no longer a celtic polytheist. I’m a Norse pagan until further notice, unless other gods still want to contact/reach out to me.
But I’m excited!! I suppose it’s always made sense, the Norse were what got me down this pathway to paganism in the first place, as well as a bunch of other things along the way, it makes sense now putting it all into perspective.
And it feels so damn good. This time, it feels right, I don’t feel like I’m wandering, lost and unsure of where to go. There is, if nothing else, finally a direction I know for sure I can take.
Nothing’s been official official, though I did tell Him I look forward to working with Him. I’m going to try contact Odin too, get His perspective on things.
But as of right now, this is my life, I’m so fucking excited I almost cried having finally felt like I’ve got my bearings. Bring it on!
Personally I am so OB coded after the latest episode.
I too want to be a theoretical physicist, I also want to be a science consultant on Sci-Fi shows/TV, I also want to be a sci-fi writer (even world built and kinda planned one), I too would dedicate over a year and half of my life and lose my spouse over dedicating myself to a task Loki gave me, I too look like a kicked puppy semi-permanently and misread every social cue.
