I can’t help but wonder if Ouroboros was supposed to be a standard snarky-asshole-genius character, based on his lines.

“Do you think this is a higher priority than preventing temporal meltdown?” “no, you left immediately.” “Green means prune.” “I know. I wrote it.” “All your skin will be peeled off and you will die.”

All these things would be extremely condescending if delivered in a slightly different way. Instead, he is earnest, awkward, kind, warm to everyone, and patient with those who aren’t as smart as he is. So thank you to Ke Huy Quan for giving us this loveable nerd instead of yet another copypaste of Sherlock.

I’m calling it right now: The Mouse is gonna give us Ouroboros/Casey, and we will be expected to applaud.

And listen… I love them. I think they’re adorable. They had me at Casey’s lovesick puppy dog eyes. Please, by all means - run off into the sunset together, boys.

But ffs, we have a queer titular character. And (Tom’s absolutely Taika-level “fuck me, the look in his eyes!!!” acting aside) there is nothing good happening between Loki and Sylvi. There is everything good happening between Loki and Mobius. That’s the only queer couple I’ll be enthusiastic about this season. And I say this as a bisexual who knows very, very well that I remain a bisexual when I’m in a relationship with a person of the opposite sex. The thing is: the world doesn’t have a problem with us when we’re in that kind of relationship, so that’s not the one we need to see on screen.

I dunno, guys. It’s 2023, and I’m just done being excited about background, wholly delete-able representation. We’ve been eating too good this year, and it’s the Mouse’s turn to keep up.

I’m gonna sit here in my Lokius clown makeup with my fingers crossed for the rest of the season, but I’m 99.9% sure we’re getting Supernatural-ed at best. Which is, these days, the fucking worst.

Ouroboros is a not a different entity type to the rest of the TVA? (Loki season 2)

I haven’t seen anyone on here talk about this specifically so I wanted to hear someone’s opinion on it.

In the first time we meet O.B. Mobius doesn’t remember him. This is portrayed as humour - Mobius gets it wrong when he tries to recite the details of their last meeting, confused glances between Loki and Mobius - but I think it could mean the variant’s memories were wiped and O.B.’s wasn’t. This would mean O.B. was different to the rest of the TVA. This could be through the fact that he was forgotten by HWR, working with him, or just immune to it in a way HWR wasn’t aware of. The fact that the R&A department office (workshop?? I’m not sure what to call it) was so buried away also links to this, as it could mean he is hidden somehow.

I don’t know this factor could be useful to them in eps 5&6, but maybe he is used to remind Mobius of his entire time at the TVA. If anyone has any other ideas or evidence against/ for this theory I would love to hear it! I haven’t really developed this idea a lot myself.
