Stepping out of my comfort...
Here’s one of the reasons my blogging journey has begun…
I’m traveling and visiting family in Arkansas for Spring Break this week. My sister and I decided to have lunch on Monday (3/13/17) at this super cute eclectic coffee house downtown and I felt empowered to get up and greet all the other customers, individually and share my business with them. Yes, I walked around another small business and hustled the customers in the store!!! CRAZY right!! I asked them about their current skincare regimens and answered their questions about R & F and left each of them with my business card to follow up. The last person I spoke with (we will call him Grant for privacy purposes) was a double bonus. Grant was the most eye catching customer in the shop. He was adorned from head to toe in extravagant tattoos, his face being my favorite canvas to dwell upon. His eyes were the dreamiest crystal, turquoise blue; hair long and flowing, blondish brown similar to what I envisioned as Jesus length hair, and I often caught myself staring into his attentive gaze…I digress, anyway he wanted to know if I sold hair removal for his face and our conversation drifted from skincare to Jesus in a matter of minutes. We conversed, laughed and he teared up after sharing his heart wrenching story about having to be defibrillator shocked 4 times and living previously with a trachea. He also confessed to his very dark way of living and knowing he needed a different lifestyle.
Fast forward, we ended our time with the Holy Spirit leading me to pray over him and ushering in the power of Jehovah Rapha, our healer, to come in and do a work in Grant’s life!
I didn’t sell skincare to Grant, but he and I both were overjoyed at the timely interruption of our day spent in presence of Our Savior!! What an amazing time we had!! 😇
We parted ways with a hug and I believe the Lord made himself well known to Grant this week! To GoD be the Glory!!!
I’m encouraging you to step out of your comforts with me this week!! 😊
