Frustrated with the fact that people are competing over the number of album sales.Ā
Since when did we get so judgemental and judge a groupās popularity based on their album sales?
Nothing last forever. Especially popularity. It changes faster than a speeding bullet. They may not be as popular as they used to be but they are still there. Surviving with the so-calledĀ ānewer trendsā of K-Pop.Ā
Donāt people realize that their supposed āfavoriteā group now, grew up listening to Super Junior and older generationsā songs?Ā
To be able to continue as a group and promote their songs as a group is no easy feat especially in a rapidly ever-changing K-Pop environment, where there is no assurance that people will accept and like your songs because there are plenty of singers, groups, bands and what have you in South Koreaās music industry.
Suju is clearly doing something right to be able to survive this long, esp with the non-existing help from their label.Ā
Itās because Suju, unlike any other groups, is one big family. They cared for one another and like family, they argued, make happy memories and suffer through hard moments together.Ā
I donāt and canāt speak on their behalf but I can feel from this promotion that Sujuās gesture and sincerity that they released this long-awaited album just for us, their fans, their ELFs.Ā
Heck care about awards or charts, ELFs just want to listen and appreciate the songs that their oppar had painstakingly recorded and released and Suju just want to repay ELFs for their ever-lasting love and patience.Ā
Donāt mind what people say, we do not need to prove to people the bond that Suju and ELFs have.Ā
They just need to observe the love that we have for each other.Ā
