Had my first visit of the year at the Sta Cruz Island and the amazing lagoon. I commend the Zero single-use Plastic Policy that is being implemented to the visitors and the strict rules to protect this beauty. If you're planning to visit, pack all your food in tupperware and carry them using canvas bags or baskets. Even plastic wrappers of chips/snacks and PET bottles for softdrinks and mineral water are not allowed so put them in jars, jugs, or other reusable containers. Forget the plastic cups, spoons and forks and bring reusable ones. In the lagoon tour, bring your umbrella or shawl to protect you from the heat, and bring a tumbler with water for hydration. I had so much fun today even if its my nth time in the island. Got my third certificate from UP! This time it's for the Monitoring and Evaluation of the Regional Brand and Marketing led by TBP PHL.
