One Bag, 3 Months Packing List

At the moment, I'm on a multi-month summer "backpacking" trip through Scandinavia via WWOOF and Worldpackers (i.e. working in exchange for room & board) with just one backpack. This packing list fits in one bag, can be used for working at a cafe/herding sheep/picking produce/touring cities/and so much more!

Small disclaimer: this is not a particularly stylish packing list. When I'm not hauling manure or baking cakes, I essentially wear jeans and a black t-shirt. All of my Instagram posts appear as if I visited 3 different countries on the same day. So, if you're looking for how to look incredibly on-trend while using only one bag, this may not be the list for you.

Clothes

T-Shirts 3x V-necks and/or non-straight necks may look stylish, but they're irritating for sun protection or if you have an acne flare up.

Air Duffel

OK so the first photo is horribly unclear--he wouldn’t stay looking at the camera!--but it gives you a good idea of the size of my backpack for the trip. And also his epic pouty-face! I swear this guy could go pout for pout against some pretty intense babies.

I’m using the Kyte 46 by Osprey for my trip. I took *forever* to pick a bag, but finally chose this one due to its size and how comfortable it is to wear. I still have plenty of space with it, too! Everything I am bringing fits nicely into this bag with room to spare, although I intend to carry some of my stuff in my purse. In part for weight reasons and in part so I don’t have to drag my bag down while on the plane just to get like. My toothbrush or something.
