The sweet breeze this afternoon

runs across my skin like hands

But cold and soft

I tuck my arms into my jumper

It’s warmth is all I need

I remember your warmth

Like the warm morning sun

I’m okay now though

I don’t need you like I use too

I can warm myself and take care of me

But the gentle Autumn air reminds me of Winter
